DOES NOT WORK WITH Phorm Light Voyager Book Light,
By
This review is from: Itty Bitty Booklight AC Adapter (Kitchen)
I ordered this adapter as a package with The Phorm Light Voyager Book Light. Amazon suggested this adapter specifically for that light. The problem is that the adapter is not strong enough (too few volts) for that light. As a result, the light appeared to malfunction. While this may not be the manufacturer's fault, I write this review to WARN OTHERS. DO NOT get this adapter if you plan to use it on that Phorm product!!!

Erratic Performance,
By
This review is from: Itty Bitty Booklight AC Adapter (Kitchen)
Frequently the booklight is not able to be illuminated when using the adapter - it seems to require either a "warm-up" (turning booklight off and then on again) before the booklight turns on - at times, even that procedure is unsuccessful - I have also had to first insert batteries to turn on the book light and then remove the batteries to use the adapter which then seems to work ok - also, even when I can use the adapter successfully, the booklight is not nearly as bright (when using the adapter) as it is when using batteries.

Product Mismatch,
By G "G" (Atlanta, GA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Itty Bitty Booklight AC Adapter (Kitchen)
I ordered the Phorm Light Voyager Book Light and the AC Adapter that was recommended with it (the Itty Bitty Booklight AC Adapter). When I first tried the Book Light with the AC adapter hooked to it, it didn't work. I tried batteries with the Phorm Light and that worked beautifully. So, I returned the AC Adapter, received another and tried it. It didn't work either. I returned the 2nd one for a refund.
Obviously, the Itty Bitty Booklight AC Adapter is not suited to work with the Phorm Light and was an oversight by someone in product development. The Phorm Light works well with batteries. It is probably better I don't have the AC Adapter, because according to my wife, I already have a "mess of wires" and don't need any more on my side of the bed... G
