This review is from: Itty-Bitty Frog Rasp with Scraper (Approx. 2.25" Long)
You need to hold the frog gently in your non dominant hand with a little air space cupped under him and hold the rasp in your dominant hand as if you were a conductor and gently rasp the frog's back to get the "sound." Now, here's what you do with it - go outside when it's getting dark in the summer, especially near a pond, and call to the frogs. Rasp it a few times and stop and wait - if the frogs are there they will call back - then answer them - they will answer you, and so forth. It is fun. You have to be quiet while talking to frogs or they will stop. I have done it and it is a hoot. You have to laugh silently, though. I bought them for all my kids and grandkids. It would be fun on a camping trip.
