Format: Paperback
There are 6 books in this set. Six of them are consonant books and six are short vowel books. The short vowel books are mostly decodable and have few sight words. They aren't for brand new beginners, though. If your child has mastered the first two sets of BOB books, they are ready for the short vowel books in this set. For short i the book is called "Little Miss Jill" and goes: "Who will hit the ball? Jill will. Who will kick it in the net?" Etc. The six consonant books are not decodable. For "T" they have words like "toys", "tickle", "tea" and "teddy". It is obvious what the words are from the pictures, but I wouldn't call them phonics readers.
The books are very small and the drawings have no color. I was a little disappointed.
