I have been a fan of Spagna's for 25 years now, even before she was even known as Spagna. She was writer and vocal contributor to the 80s italo-disco group Fun Fun and then had a massive dance hit under the name of Yvonne Kay called "Rise Up".
She writes almost all of her music and now produces much of it. Great melodies, great arrangements and her amazing pop voice. She had many hits in english, then started singer in her native Italian, garnering even more success and recognition. If you like Italo pop disco and anything disco-dance, her 80s music will excite you. If you love good Italian pop, incredible ballads and straight-forward pop/rock/dance songs....grab this CD and give it a serious listen. It is all here....many years of evolution and success. I love Spagna...always will.
