I don't usually write reviews for anything, but decided that I would do it this time. I had heard of this book but really didn't want to pay the $58.00+ for this book. However, I had some on-line IE friends sharing with me about how this book had helped them to understand and implement some things better than some of the other Ituitive Eating type books we had read. I've read many books on the subject of Intuitive eatig and why diets do not work and how to lose weight and keep it off without dieting. But I kept getting the feeling from what I was hearing that I needed to read Susanna's book so I decided I wanted to get the book. Took me a while to decide to spend so much money to purchase it, but finally decided that I needed to since one friend said it had become her favorite of all the IE type books she always recommends. I got the book yesterday and it is such an easy read that I read over half the book last night and it makes absolute sense. It is just plain common sense the way she presents everything. Her story is not much different from my own and makes me wonder why I ever changed the way I ate and began eating according to diets. Having observed how my grandchildren eat when hungry and then stop without overeating because they were satisfied helped me understand what she is saying in the book and why diets do not work. In fact, to me if I had never heard so much about diets etc, I think common sense would have told me how to eat because for the 1st 19 yrs of my life I ate the way she describes.
I would very much recommend this book and give it a 5 star rating. I do not understand why Susanna can sell the book on her website for less than $15 + S&H. I had to pay $58 + S&H on Amazon.com.Read more ›
the easiest most common-sense book iv ever read. I keep it on my bedside and keep re-reading it to remind myself that loosing weight does not have to be the Brutal unfulfilling journey that it has been my whole life. strongly recommend this read, it has actually made me a happier person simply by making peace with where I am an knowing that her strategies are foolproof..
I cannot recommend it enough..
