4.0 out of 5 stars Home driving and chipping practice net.
I am useing this net inside and have had to make some adaptations like raising the front lip and adding a cusion to keep the ball from springing back at me,however it works very well for my purposes.
Have to stand close when hitting high loft wedges or ball will go over the net and ricoshet around the basement.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I purchased the Izzo Big Daddy Inta-Net after much research. My husband has taken up golf in the past couple of years & spends quite a bit of time at the driving range. I thought this would be a good gift. We loved the way it set up, but on the first afternoon of use, one of the plastic clips snapped into. Why they did not used metal clips, I don't know. We thought "how can we fix it" so we didn't have to pay the postage and go through the hassle of shipping it back, but we could not figure out a solution. I would suggest finding a net that is attached by something more durable than plastic. I am sending it back tomorrow, and we are both disappointed.

This is one of the best nets I have bought. It is very easy to set and take down and it sits up without needing any spikes in the ground. It great for the garage

I bought this net because I wanted one that I could use inside with a golf simulator. I'm not using real balls but foam ones, which are not nearly so loud. The net catches the balls, so I'd say it works. It is quite large. It clearly says 7x7 and that's about right, but you ought to measure 7x7 in the space you're planning on using it before purchasing. Still, it's one of the smallest around, I think. Incidentally, I have hit real balls into it a few times outside and it works fine. Real balls do spring back two or three feet, so you want to stand farther back than that. Foam balls just roll down the net.

4.0 out of 5 stars works great, April 11, 2007
What I like most about this practice net is the easy pop up and twist take down. They say it is good indoors too but you will need room. Probably best for basement, it is bigger than it looks on the box.

I'm very pleased with the net so far. It was fairly simple to set up and it works great. This is the first net I've uses so thir is nothing for me to compare it to but after my first month of use it's worked like a champ.

This net is good. Easy to set up and and easy to dismantle. But the problem is with the bottom harness design. The harness hooks on both side is made of plastic, one hit to it and it breaks into pieces. It should be metal, otherwise it just marginalized an otherwise good product. Mine broke after few weeks of playing, I tied it with a metal wire, to hold it in place. Apart from this problem it's a pretty good net.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so "insta(nt)", September 23, 2008

The net was well made and priced low but took almost 10 minutes to set up. I had a hard time keeping it standing, the guy lines and stakes were very necessary but they give no specific directions on where & how to attach them. To store it required that it be completely dismantled. I purchased the Instant Range Net to replace it, and it truly is Instant. Much more stable and instantly sets up. The Insta-net is not what its name implies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Net!, May 19, 2008

This is a great net. I am extremely happy with the quality of this net. the netting is thick and durable. Also, it is extremely easy to set up and put together, and has step by step insructions. I recently purchased a net shaped like a tent that was extremely hard to put up, and one of the poles broke, but I have had no problems with the Izzo Big Daddy Insta-Net. This net is big enough to catch golf shots, but small enough to fit in my basement, which is eight feet high. The shipping was also quick. I strongly recommend this net for any golfer.

1.0 out of 5 stars Piece of junk, August 7, 2011
This net is biggest piece of junk. The plastic clips are cheap. The poles won't come apart to take it down and the thing just keeps falling over to one side. This thing is a joke.
