This is a great, durable, punishable piece of net. I bought one on January and it lasted almost the whole year. You might say ,"just a year"? Well, I never put the net away..rain and sun, sun and rain...the net didn't give up! Sure it began to tear from some points (straps) after a while but never the mesh. I hit this thing everyday of the year, at least 75 to 100 balls daily; 6 iron, 4 hybrid, 3 hybrid, driver. I changed my hitting mat twice before having to change the net. The only con is that the ball bounces back more that I like. If you set it up in grass there is no problem because the ball is not going to roll back to you that much, but if you have it on solid surface like I do, set a trap behind you or be ready to chase that ball...No risk of injury because the bounce is not hazarous..is just anoying having to chase the ball. I would be nice if the net traps the ball and lets it drop straight down. Before this one I bought a Wilson net that made the ball drop straight down after impact but it lasted no more than 3 months. After 3 months of use the ball just went thru the mesh! fore!!!
Another pro is that you can hit virutally every club with to it; yes wedges too. Just be sure to get closer if you are going to hit wedges against it.

Good-looking, easy to set up. Big problem, though - hitting driver or 3, 4 and 5 irons, the ball comes flying back at you and if it doesn't hit you, can end up 5 feet behind you! This is ridiculous! I'm looking to modify this thing with some sort of hanging baffle net to catch the ball before it ricochets.

Net works fine. There is some bounce back on woods but haven't been hit yet so not that big of a deal. The only real issue I have is the straps on the net that hold in the pegs (in the rear) have rotted away. I'm assuming this is due to weather but it seems they should hold up longer than 6 months. I live in Florida so we do get more than average rain, but I expected better. Luckily, you can put the pegs through metal loops in the front to keep the net secured in the ground.
I would say this net is better than the cheap one that I took back to Walmart, but doesn't replace the driving range.

After thoroughly researching golf nets, this one by Izzo seemed to be the best one as far as price, features and reputation. I am thoroughly disappointed. One would think a 'pop-up' net would be fairly easy to assemble, but this was a horrific struggle. You will need more than two people, and make sure they are strong. It took two of us more than two hours to get the net assembled. Within the first five minutes, the stress on the fabric from the poles already tore through a hole in the bottom "foot" area of the net, making it pretty useless. By the next day (with the net having been only stored upright in the garage - no use) the stress from the poles snapped two of the buckle togs used to secure the poles to the netting. My son used this net once, and it has sat in the garage unused since. A definite "no-buy" rating from me.

Not As Advertized,
This is advertised at 12' wide and 10' tall. It is 8' wide and 7 1/2 feet tall. Way smaller than advertised. I am going to return it. Otherwise, it would have been just what I needed.

second net I've gone through.
I have slightly higher swing speeds, but swing nothing more than a 7 iron and have consistently busted through the net after a few month. nice structure, accomodates pitch shots/flop shots well.

I'm in the process of returning this item. One of the stake loops, and the thin fishnet it's attached to, ripped apart the first time I used it. I read a lot of reviews on many similar products, and it looks like there's nothing out there reasonably priced that's going to last.

This net is very well made. It's great for warming up at home or practicing between rounds. The design allows you to hit every club in your bag including your wedges, which alot of other nets do not. The only complaint I have with this net is it takes about 5 mins to assemble rather than breaking down and popping up like other nets I've seen. Not an issue for me though because I put it up in the garage and have no plans of moving it. Overall I'm very pleased with this net and would certainly recommend it to a friend.
