I chose this putting mat over the other mats out there because of its simple design and long length - I was anticipating a great product because of all the positive reviews on the retailer's website.
Well, it turned out to be a big diappointment. I first became suspicious as soon as I pulled the thing out of the box, it was not 9 feet long as advertised, but a little under 8 feet; the maximum putting distance is actually more like 7 feet because of the placement of the ball return mechanism. Okay, I can accept a little bit of false advertising - but the mechanism became irrevocably stuck AFTER ONLY ONE PUTT. What a garbage product. If you value your hard earned money and free time, do not waste either dealing with this piece of crap. I am promptly returning for a full refund and will be looking for a better product from a more reputable manufacturer than Izzo Golf.

1. First, the water and sandtrap cutouts' cutting outline and the actual pieces don't match.
2. Second, when the ball is returned, the machine makes a very loud, annoying, gear-grinding noise that keeps going well after the ball has been returned. If you don't want your putting to be annoying as hell, DON'T BUY THIS CRAP!!!
