Nice block but...,

This is an attractive well made block with a relatively small footprint. Now for a few corrections. The block is made of beechwood, not oak. Also, there are two 7/8" slots, four 1-3/8" slots, two 2" slots and a 1-1/2" slot shared with the steel slot. It will accomodate up to 11" knives/steel as well as kitchen shears.

Great wood block for my knifes. Even has a hole of the scissors in my kitchen. Well worth the money.
