Formulated like our original J-B Weld, Marine Weld is as strong as steel, and is water and weather proof. It's impervious to saltwater, chemcials, oil, acids and other corrosive materials. Marine Weldwill bond to virtually any clean, dry surface including: iron, steel, copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, pewter, porcelain, ceramic, marble, glass, concrete, fiberglass, wood, some plastics, and many more. MIxed at room temperature (70F), Marine Weld will set in 4-6 hours, and cure in 16-24 hours. Marine Weld is so versatile that is used by marine science to mend the shells of turtles injured by boat propellers.

I bought this epoxy to glue a stainless steel mesh onto pvc pipe. I have used this filter now for five months -- it works as advertised. Since it is a two part cement it can get messy, so use a small dish to mix and dispense it (with a small stick).

This J-B Weld 8272 Marine Weld is not a product worth buying! I had small cracks at the bottom of my bathroom sink which was leaking water. I mixed the tubes (all of each tube) together and applied the mixture with gloved hands. I waited 48 hours to cure and tested the faucets full force... no detectable leakage, BUT, after a few days a use, water leaking through this epoxy... very disappointed!
