I got these about a month ago and they work exactly as promised. They arrived promptly. The only thing I'd change is how the manufacturer stores them after making them. If they were rolled onto a tube instead of folded, then the problems of lines at every fold would be pervented. Those lines can't be ironed out because the material would not take the heat and they do not fall out after hanging (at least not after a month). I guess that would increase the cost of both production and mailing but I'd be willing to pay it. I really do like them, love that I can see out without letting the hot damaging sun into my home.

I had used those cutains for years, when I lived in Calif. Here in Colo I was not receiving my sales magazine. Then behold one day it came in the mail...........I immediately ordered those curtains I had wanted for 3 years. I got wonderful service, my curtains came on time and the best part is these curtains keep your house about 15 to 20 degrees cooler in the summer and about 15 to 20 degrees warmer in the winter. the curtains were sent out on time. I was surprised that the curtains really work well. They keep the cold air out and my room temperature is much warmer since putting up the curtains.

I have been using these same curtains for a couple years now during the summer months. They definitely decrease the heat in my living room which is southern facing. For the price they are a pretty good value too. My biggest complaint is that they are extremely flimsy. Basically plastic wrapped aluminum foil curtains. I have cats, so there are a few taped up rips in the curtains. Since the curtains are already really ugly, it doesn't matter much anyways. If you don't care about looks, are looking to cool down your room and can be delicate with them, they do work and the price is cheap. Therefore, with these caveats, I would recommend, and don't regret my purchase.

These do cut visibility from outside during the day, but not at night. They do provide insulation. They are very cheap, so no one that orders them should complain about the quality. They don't pretent to be anything they are not. They are junky, they are cheap, they will not last -- but I don't think people that order them should expect anything else.

This is basically a space blanket as they used to call sheets of aluminized mylar. I bought this to cover a window and it does a great job. One end has a fold and holes punched so that it might be hung easily and have it drape properly. I noted the the silvering got a bit weak on the creases where it had been folded for packaging by the manufacturer. But it doesn't badly detract from the material doing its job. It will take a couple of weeks of free hanging to get the folding creases out of it, but this can be sped up. Hang the sheet in a bathroom and run the shower hot. That will help reduce (if not remove) the creases. I notice an immediate difference: the heat of the sun that burned through the window has been nullified, the beams reflected back and away. In daylight, one can easily see through the sheet, so it would work pretty well for those making hummingbird blinds so they can watch their feeders from close by.

I was skeptical but they do keep my bedroom cooler. I was disappointed however because I ordered 4 and only received 3.

These solar curtains are the most amazing things I've ever found and used. The amount of direct sunlight they filter out is beyond incredible. Keeps the house cooler on scorching hot days and helps to keep out the cold in winter. They actually work as good or better than solar screens. They come with the added feature of being able to see out, yet keep peepers from looking inside. They are not the prettiest window dressing,and yes, those pesky folds in the material never go away, but if you are on a budget and not picky about style, they perform as promised and then some. I would definitely recommend them to one and all.
