Kings of Leon, The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and Louis XIV have been my only hopes in the new millennium. This album is better than anything that I have heard in the past 3 years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't miss this! July 28, 2010
Format:Audio CD
From the Baltimore City Paper: "J. Roddy Walston and the Business is what would happen if Queen and Black Oak Arkansas birthed four boys in the backwoods and let them listen to nothing but Cheap Trick and showtunes".
The only thing better than this record is seeing the band live!

I stumbled onto J Roddy Walston & The Business and now I can't stop listening! I understand their live shows are spectacular, but their recorded music is great. Great ragged rock that is melodic and rousing. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best bands in a LONG time. April 26, 2014

When your 57 year old father says this is some good stuff, you know you found some great music.

This is true Rock N' Roll. Not that awful heavy metal or cheesy boy-band junk. I was always a KOL fan (and still am) but this is quickly becoming my favorite band. Shout out to the Rockin' Eagle in the Copper Country. Heard 'Heavy Bells' on my way to the ski hill and instantly fell in love with it. Thanks for still being a true radio station!

Recommendation: Buy every album.
