I bought these J. Shoes on sale last year. J. Shoes offers styles that are unique and unusual. To me, these are a timeless style if you like the BoHo look. Unfortunately when I bought them, the brown was sold out in my size and the only color available was yellow. However, I quickly remedied that by applying a brown liquid shoe polish to all the canvas yellow areas and Voila! there was the shoe that I originally wanted. The other problem for me was the height of the heel and platform...too tall... and because the shoe is not padded I had a difficult time walking. This, too, I was able to remedy by having the shoemaker cut them down. They now are perfect and even with all the makeovers the cost was less than the original price of the shoe before the sale.

I bought these shoes from a local retailer in my area, and have been in LOVE with them each time I've worn them. However, after only a few wears, the wooden base of the shoe (right under the arch of the foot) SNAPPED IN HALF. I just think that's a little ridiculous for a shoe, especially one that's of such great quality. I am not a large person, and shoes should not be snapping in half after only a few wears. My advice? Move along to a less faulty shoe.

This is a cute shoe..runs a tad bit small..I ordered 1 size up. the draw back on these shoes are the taps..take them to a cobbler before you wear them..other wise very cute shoe...
