Finally a gel that fits in my ear! I bought the Jabra eargels based on other reviews and I could not even cram them into my ear - not even the small size! I'm an average sized woman and never thought that I had particularly small ears, but those things really hurt. These minigels are perfect and create such an excellent seal. I can hear better and the person on the other end of the line can hear better. Very secure.

Jabra Minigels with Jawbone II,

I'd read a lot of people's recommendations for using this with the Jawbone II. The reviews say that it creates a perfect fit to keep the JBII pressed to your cheek to keep the Noise Assassin working and increase volume in your ear canal that would make you reduce your volume level to medium to lower. They do a better job than the round earpiece that comes with the JBII and there have been a few calls that I was able to turn down the volume and it allowed me to not have to use the ear loop, but, not loud enough and not a tight enough fit to keep it in the ear perfectly. I think a longer tubing might be better perhaps in a cone shape. I'm going to try the Jabra Eargels next to see if that works better in MY ear. The Minigel seemed preferred to the Eargel by most JBII users. We'll see. So far, the Jawbone II is the best headset with my Blackberry Curve. If I can only find an earpiece that will stay in place.07/09/10 - Since this review, I've tried the the regular Jabra Eargels and they fit much better with the Jawbone II. You can use them securely with no loop and they conform to the ear perfectly. However, since then, I've also found, for voice clarity, Plantronics Voyager Pro and Discovery 975 perform better than the JBII. The Voyager Pro has a rubber ear loop that will split after long periods of use, so, go with the Discovery 975. These fit in the ear just fine and it makes the Eargel or Minigel unnecessary, so, this review is kind of moot.

JAWBONE USERS --do NOT buy these MINI's to replace STANDARD Jabra Eargels,

After reading ALL the reviews, and one in particular from a reviewer who obviously has not used the product, I ordered a few sets to replace my Standard Jabra eargels. The standard eargels have been a fan favorite for Jawbone users since the design securely holds the jawbone without the need of the ear hook. I was delighted to hear that the mini-gels (which are indeed much smaller and appear much more comfortable than the standard eargels) where described to be effective without the ear hook. Nothing could be further from the TRUTH. These mini's have no way of securing the Jawbone to your ear and thus are inefectual for such use. If you use the hook, they are indeed better than what Jawbone provides. But if you want to AVOID THE HOOK than AVOID THESE MINI GELS AT ALL COST!I hope this saves some of you from wasting your money

For JAWBONE ICON users - The best you can have. Surely NO HOOK IS NEEDED,

I used the original of jawbone icon, it is ok. I also used the plantronics eargels, they are ok too. but why not to try something new?So I've made an order. Wonderful, just enter your size (large or small) to the ear cannal, and there it will sit great. as I said, no hook is needed. totaly not. Take off any original ring and put this one. sits so deeply that you cant see the gel from outside, also ICON lays better on your face bond.

I have a Jawbone Icon bluetooth headset. I HATE the ear-gel that came with it. It doesn't fit my ear comfortably and doesn't keep the headset in my ear firmly. These, Jabra MiniGels are PERFECT!! They hold the headset in my ear without the blasted earloop (a major plus of eyeglass wearers) and are so comfortable I can wear the headset for hours. I rated them a four instead of a five because I keep losing them. They pop off of the headset pretty easily. I've since taken to carrying the headset in an old 35mm film canister and haven't lost any recently. I've also read on SuperInterWebNetHighway that a bit of superglue will hold them in place, but I'm loathe to do that. Overall, this is the answer if you dislike the OEM Jawbone ear-gel as much as I.

Just received these today and after taking a moment to figure out how to put it on and insert it in my ear securely, it seems okay. From first site, I believe I will enjoy the minigels with the elongated look than the shorter ones. These seem to give me a more secure fit and the shorter ones feel like it will slip out at any moment. I'll update after a week or so of use.

I had an old BT250v, from back in the day. Finally managed to fix the thing up, but I needed new gels. So I ordered this. The gels fit perfectly with the headset, and certainly seem to be the OEM original. However, the package is not the one pictured (it's just a little OEM plastic bag, like the one in the picture, but without all the additional packaging). My biggest problem is that it has the Large gel, and the Small gel, but not the Medium gel, which is the one I really wanted. Still, the Small gel gets the job done.

The minigels earpiece was an exact replacement and was sent promptly. The only "con" is that I only needed one and I had to buy a package containing several at a price greater than I would have prefered to pay for the single one I needed.

The picture provided "appears" show about a dozen of the ear buds in the box. It isn't until you read the small print that you realize you only get TWO of whatever size you were after (long or short), for a total of four. The two short ones I had to throw away, so for me, that came down to $3.00 a piece for the two I could use; not the bargain I thought it was.The longer minigel ear bud worked best for me, in both helping to secure the Jawbone and also to put the point of sound input that much closer into the ear canal. I find this configuration the (C500) to be the most rugged for its size. It has convenient Flash and Mute keys and has survived getting knocked around and wound up countless times. Let's face it; for all those of us who still refuse to go down that Blue Tooth route and are having to stay physically tethered to their phones, This is the one. Other brands I have used have not had the reinforcement added where the wire enters the device. Without that reinforcement, the insulation would wear down and the next thing you know, all the internal wires get exposed. This unit has the reinforcement AND a much more durable wire. Oh, make sure you carefully place a couple dabs of super glue onto the earbud to secure it to the Jawbone so that the SuperGlue doesn't run onto the internal speaker.

The earhook on the Jawbone just didn't fit me well. When I read that Jabra minigels would fit the Jawbone 2 I gave them a try. Now the device seats in the ear so well no hook is even needed. You just give it a twist and it locks into the ear. A great $10 upgrade for me and I like wearing the Jawbone more than ever.
