JAVOedge Pink Croc Book Style Case for the Barnes & Noble Nook (Corner Strap)

I purchase the NOOK and needed to wait several months for the case that I ordered with the NOOK. I was so afraid to take my NOOK anywhere without protection so I left it at home for about two weeks. Then I accidently came across the JAVOedge case while l was browsing Amazon.com. I order this pink croc book style case - and I LOVE it! It snaps to the back so the flap does not get in your way if you wish to fold the front cover back to read your NOOK. It is a very soft but durable leather and can be wiped off if need be. The front cover has a business card holder or can be used for gift cards and there is a flap for holding note cards (I'm a big user of 3"x5" cards, so this is a big plus for me) or note pad and a little band on the inside spine for a pen. The NOOK fits securely in place and can be charged or use headphones without removing from the cover. WOW you can have it all! The JAVOedge comes in various syles and colors. B&N is really missing out on these sales as they have opted for high-end designer covers instead. Compared to those the cost of the JAVOedge is reasonable. I will defintely order another one in a few months for a "change." Why not-I can buy two of these for less than one of the designer covers at B&N.

We bought this cover for my mother in laws Nook and we love it. The color isn't exactly a pink pink, which we were hoping for, instead it's more like a dusty pink. We like it anyway. It's very soft and feels like it has a good amount of cushion on the front cover. The Inside is great, my mother in law especially likes the little card slot (she uses it for her gift card) and the loop to hold a pen or pencil.

The case is very close to the actual size of the nook so there isn't much overlap around the edges, but I think it will still protect it fine if it falls.

It's also very light, which is great. I expected the cover to add some weight to the Nook but holding it with it on doesn't feel much heavier at all.

The reason for the 4 stars vs 5 is this: We knew it was designed this way when we purchased it (via pictures) but didn't actually think about it until we started using it... it is the only thing my Mother in Law doesn't like, and I agree, it is that the snap closure is in the back. It feels odd, and backwards. When you go to open it you instinctively hold it so the snap is on the "front" and then have to flip it around. She'll get used to it though.

I've now been using this JAVOedge Pink Croc case for two months and I LOVE IT! I'm hard on my electronic gadgets, and knew I needed a case for my Nook immediately after buying it, but there were a lot of choices. After a couple of weeks of tossing the unprotected reader into my giant handbag, I threw a "dart" and chose the Pink Croc.

I'm not a particularly "pink-colored girl" so was very pleasantly surprised that the color of this case is muted pink -- I call it beach sand pink.

The absolute best unexpected surprise is this case is just like an old hardback book. I love touching the texture and smelling the leather before I even open the treat inside. This case only gets better with use and age, and the snap-back cover is so very nice. Five stars!

Love this cover for my nook. It is a soft cover and a soft pink shade. It fits perfectly. Arrived ahead of time and well packed.

Great product. Went on very easily contrary to some other reviews. Price and service great. Would definitely buy fromn this vendor again. The product really protects my Nook...I even used it on the beach all summer. The case protected it from the sand. It is very stylish and everything the description said it would be. If you have a Nook, you need this case. Enjoy!
