I broke my old muzzle on my JBL sawed-off magnum after 6 years of frequent abuse in the pounding surf and many large fish speared, RIP. this new muzzle is made of plastic versus metal which has me nervous but it fit right in place of the old one and the glow sight works well under-water becoming much brighter than above water. Beeing a speero for more than 8 years though i seldom aim I just line up and shoot. I can see how this would be a help to a novice speero though. I was very dissapointed when JBL lowered the quality of the sawed-off magnum to a cheap plastic one and sold it for the same price and the magnum that once was is now the "XHD sawed-off magnum". so if you have a sawed off magnum that is older and has a metal muzzle this is the right part for you. I guess only a few years can tell whether this plastic will stand the test of time. So far it seems pretty sturdy.
