All the bass none (well not none) of the wires,

This JBL subwoofer is just as crisp and bassy as the wired/powered version. I did quite a bit of research on the two and found that that little extra money was worth it to me.
It was very easy to setup and was great to put up because I could put it in different places in the room to find where it suited me best. I prefer the sub in back of the room instead of the front. So not having to run those wires was worth it. The wireless works great, I have not had a single issue with the wireless interfering with my wireless internet or wireless rear speakers.

I love the wireless feature, and the ability to place the speaker any where in the room. When turned on, we felt the entire floor was rocking, and yet the sound remained very precise and clear, as opposed to booming like my old SONY one.
My only concern is the power consumption during its standby mode. I heard other models, non-wireless ones, draw a lot of power to keep the speaker warm, even during the standby mode.

I really like this wireless subwoofer. The sound is great and it's easy to set up. The only problem I had was that it interferred with the wireless internet connection to my Blueray player. I changed channels on my router, moved the transmitter, but regardless of what I did it continued to make me lose my wireless internet connection. I finally bought a Netgear powerline adapter kit which solved my problem. The only other option I had was to run a wired connection to the unit. To buy 30 ft. subwoofer cable would have cost more than the powerline adapter, not to mention having to run it which would have entailed crawling under my house to accomplish. The speed of the Blueray is also much greater and the internet connection is more stable with the powerline adapter. So if you have this problem don't waste your time changing channels on your router etc. Other than that, this is a great addition to my sound system and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
