I recently brought two of these speakers and I must say that I have been looking for 30 years now to find something like this for my home entertainment; anyone buying this product would be fully satisfied.

I just love this thing. I have had a Yamaha 100W powered subwoofer for many years but when I hooked this sub to my system the whole room came alive. We have wondered if there are jets flying at roof level it puts so much low freq power into the room. The cherry looks great... I really felt that I got a bargain with this sub.

Purchased 2 of these subs. For the price they sound good and the cherry color looks great. I use one for my Energy FPS/LCR home theater system; the other with my Klipsch Cornwall II speakers in a 2 channel set up. Yes there are better subs
out there, but for the price these sound great and look nice. There sound is warm
and big, not as tight as I would like. These are a ported design and not sealed.
Overall can't say enough; have always loved JBL.

I have a surroud system that is composed of 2 B&W front speakers to Bose rear satellites and a sony front channel. The amplifier is an Harman KArdon and the blu ray player is a Pioneer BF51. I hade a Boston Acoustic sub 7" 150W that I found in the house I bought.
The cross over of the sub I had was set up to 80Hz but despite that it vibrated to much.

The JBL 250 has a very plush looking with is cherry wood finishing. I put it in LFE mode and I used the digital filter of the blu ray (80HZ) and the result is superb especially with the blu ray movie that are rich of basses.
No vibration and it complete the set of speaker.
Hi highly recomend this sub because it doesen't look cheap and sound great and powerfull.

This replaced my JBL sub woofer that I bought in the 1980s and had developed a hum in it's power supply. Not only does it perform flawlessly but it looks great too! JBL provides terrific performance at a decent price!

Great bass, very powerful, It Definitely make a difference with a high or low power receiver. This is the heart of any surround sound system.

you want bass , you need power, you want rock n roll quality in hot cherry finsh bingo i got it.. what you waiting for ? ?
