Although somewhat expensive this is a very nice quality product, good quality materials and workmanship. Powder coated base, satin finish aluminum center post. Included all the parts required to mount the speakers. What you would except from a company like JBL. There are many cheaper speaker stands available but not with this level of quality. These stands are made specifically for JBL 200 series speaker set. I was not able to find any other stands that were compatible with these speakers (that would not require a lot of re-engineering) other than the manufactures stands.
These stands are not height adjustable. After assembly and attaching the speaker, they are approx 45 inches high. This was too high for my application. I was able to remedy this by cutting the center post. The post is oval shaped, extruded aluminum. After cutting the posts, I had to tap two holes in each post (10-24 tap). This was simple and easy to do since the aluminum is soft and easy to work with.

These speaker stands are better that I had hoped for!!! Very attractive and look well in my room. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
