The slim-profile Northridge E Series E20 fits neatly on a bookshelf. It's the ideal choice for a home, office or dorm room stereo system where space is limited, but outstanding performance is demanded. The E20 is also an excellent choice for side or rear surround speakers in a Northridge E home theater system.

The E20 performs like a pro, with technology developed by JBL’s Professional division. Equipped with JBL's tried-and-true titanium-laminate tweeters and PolyPlas woofers, the speaker reproduces high notes with extreme clarity. The lows and mids, assisted by the FreeFlow flared port, are loud and clear, without unwanted distortion or boominess. The Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguide ensures that every seat is the best in the house for sweet music and intelligible dialogue, or for just rocking out. Since the transducers were purpose-designed to work together harmoniously, JBL's simple Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP) crossover network divides the signal with minimal processing (and minimal opportunity to degrade the signal). Sturdy gold-plated, 5-way binding posts provide a strong connection that preserves all of the nuances of the original program. The computer-designed, lock-mitred cabinet virtually eliminates distortion, and its slim European profile won’t overpower your room.

The E20 is available with an attractive Black Ash, Beech or Cherry finish.

We have 2 sets of these speakers, one set of which was purchased from Amazon. We play classical CDs and listen to classical HD radio all day long. They provide outstanding sound.

I bought these recently in Black- they are small and take up little room. The highs are wonderful- crystal clear, and clean. The mid range sound is great as well, with the two balancing each other perfectly. These little babies have a ported base- and offer a subtle but nicely detailed base sound- which is a change for JBL. Perfect for jazz and classical, I love these speakers- a great buy for the money. You will be very pleased.
