The rough in bracket RIF6C is actually circular. It fits the following 6.5 inch JBL Speakers
HTI6C
IS6C
IS6DT
SS6DT
L226C
LS326C
SP6CII


It has plastic tabs that snap in the sides that let you center it in a cavity in the wall or ceiling. The rough in bracket provides a guide that the Sheet Rocker can then use to rotozip out the hole for the speaker.
