True 2.1-channel sound from just two components.
Many home theater installations require five loudspeakers, a subwoofer and miles of speaker wire. The JBL® SB 300 greatly simplifies that situation. It's a complete home theater sound system comprising only a single amplified soundbar and a wireless powered subwoofer. The JBL SB 300 soundbar houses dual 2-inch (51mm) midrange transducers and a 1-inch (25mm) dome tweeter with 50 watts of amplification for each of the two front channels. The wireless ported subwoofer features an 8-inch (200mm) woofer cone driven by 100 watts of amplification. That's real power, but it easily fits into any listening environment. Just connect the soundbar directly your television, DVD player or game console, and plug the subwoofer into any convenient power outlet. You'll enjoy rich, full-spectrum, 2.1-channel output that dramatically improves the sound. Or you can select 3-D surround processing to create a realistic, 360-degree soundstage. Either way, the SB 300 delivers true JBL performance with the absolute minimum number of components - and without a speaker wire in sight.

The SB 300 soundbar and subwoofer drivers are designed and custom-built to work together as a single system, delivering better overall performance than stand-alone components for more realistic movie and music experiences.
Versatile front soundbar.
The SB 300 soundbar - one sleek component integrating left and right speakers, amplifiers and controls - is styled with the distinctive JBL® Weave design to complement the look of flat-panel TVs. It is magnetically shielded to eliminate video interference and may be placed on a tabletop near the TV or wall-mounted with hardware that's included in the SB 300's carton.
Wireless powered subwoofer
The 8-inch, 100-watt SB 300 powered subwoofer delivers deep, satisfying bass without speaker wires. Unlike conventional, front-firing subwoofers - which interact with nearby walls, causing unwanted reflections that can muddy the sound - the down-firing SB 300 sub interacts principally with your floor, and its enclosure is ported for improved bass output and quality.
3-D surround processing.
In addition to traditional stereo playback, the SB 300 features 3-D surround processing, which creates a realistic surround-sound experience that's effective for both movies and music.
