These are a great system and small, powerful (no distortion) speakers. Too bad we need to have wires for connecting because these would be great to simply set on your coffee table and pull your laptop to play your favorite songs. But on a shelf, these work great and wires can be a non issue. The small speakers have cloth wires, and the main hub/amp/woofer has all the hook-up inputs, power and connections to the rear. The one small speaker controls your volume and mute. Great sound !

These speakers are great! I use them at family parties with the volume as high as they can go and they have yet to blow and the clarity is still amazing. Everyone I know is extremely impressed with these speakers because they are so tiny, yet they are as loud as a 5 channel surround system. Its a MUST BUY!
