I purchased these headphones nearly two months ago. I use them to talk to friends overseas via Yahoo! They work excellent...especially for the low price.

The headset hasn't had any problems despite my repeated abuses (sitting on them, retrieving them by the cord, etc) and it works very well. You probably wouldn't want to use the mic for recording your own vocals, but if you're just interested a in steady-ish volume speaking-level mic, this is more than adequate. And a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a set from Target or Walmart.

The microphone on these didn't work straight out of the box. it recognizes that it's plugged in, as the mic built into my laptop doesn't register any sound, but it won't pick up any sound at all from this headset. the headphones work fine, quality matches price, etc., but i'm pretty upset, considering I only got these for the microphone. two stars because the headphone part actually works.
