This is my second purchase from Gem Ave. This time I'm a little disappointed. I thought that I was getting a solid copper bracelet this one is plated. I hope the plating on is actual copper. Gem Ave did not offer this information in the description. The only reason that I'm giving it a few star rating is because the pattern is very nice. NOT to happy with this one from Gem Ave.

I hurt both my wrist and my right hand middle finger. One injury was from swinging a hammer too much and the other was from hitting my wrist on something. I put this on and believe it or not, it doesnt hurt while or within a few days of wearing.

I've never worn anything on my wrists other than wrist watches, but I've heard that copper bracelets help with Arthritic pain, and I liked the design of this one.

The bracelet arrived very quickly and even though I'm a bigger guy this fits great and feels more comfortable than most of the watch bands I've owned that where much more expensive.

The design looks better than the photo and brings images of some Native American designs I've seen, and it's masculine enough that I don't feel odd about having a bracelet on my wrists. Plus the arthritic pain has dropped off allot, giving me the ability to pick up my guitars again. Some people claim it's probably a placebo effect, but if it is a placebo effect it seems like a pretty wild coincidence that the pain has dropped off noticeably after I began wearing the bracelet.

I've read a few reviews that complain about the bracelet is causing changes in skin color. The more acidic the skin is, the more this might be an issue. I wash my wrists every morning and it's not noticeable until just before bed when I wash the area again, so in my case I don't see a problem.

Over all even if it doesn't work for you I think it's attractive enough to ware as a casual men's bracelet, and at a great price. So I would have to recommend it even if you only like the looks, and if it helps with pain... that's a great bonus. In my case it seems pretty obvious that the bracelet has helped with the pain in my hands, wrists and elbows so I'm a believer and highly recommend this for people suffering with similar issues.
