4.0 out of 5 stars Easy install the first time
I have installed several remote start systems, but this was the first with a security bypass. It was much easier to do than I had imagined.

I have since ordered a similar product except the Bulldog Security brand instead of JBS Tech knock-off brand.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quickly, easily installed and works great., June 29, 2008
This review is from: Universal Learning Bypass Module (Misc.)
I installed this product quickly, easily and it worked just like it was suppose to. Bulldog has some great products and this is definitely one of them. This item was a must for the installation I performed. I just followed the directions included with this item and it was very easy to work with. I feel the price is definitely a bargain considering the purpose of this item.

This module needs to have an RFID key inside the module to work. They should make that clear when they sell this module.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you need it, you cannot go anywhere without it, January 20, 2007
This review is from: Universal Learning Bypass Module (Misc.)
I found my module easy to install while I was in the process of installing my BullDog starter. It worked the first time I had it attached to the system. Car wouldn't start without it, so can't help but recommend it. I used it for a key with a chip (GM Product).

2.0 out of 5 stars Can't use with Audi fobs, December 7, 2009

I purchased this to install in an 02 Audi A6. The Audi key fob is large and will not fit in this unit. You'll need to buy a smaller valet key from Audi to make this work. I suspect VW's are the same.

Note that the transponder receiver is on very stiff and brittle wires which break easily - when I decided to use this on my Subaru instead, they broke, and I had to buy another unit.

Next time I'm buying something locally and having it installed.

Took a whole 5 mins to add this to the remote starter very simple. As for leaving a key in the car. sand off the blade edge so it no longer works. The part you want is the chip in the rubber or plastic part of your key

Not too difficult to install. You will need an extra copy of the factory ignition key that will stay inside this device at all times.

Follow the directions carefully. There are 2 or 3 possibilities on how one specific area needs to be wired. Don't get frustrated if the the first way you try it doesn't work. Mine worked with the 2nd arrangement.
