My girls love the "La Newborn" dolls! The outfits have shown some wear-the knit sleepers have pilled a bit, but the dolls themselveve are just as nice as the day they recived them. These dolls can wear preemie baby clothes. I don't normally spend this much on a doll but the quality of these dolls makes me think that this may be somthing that my girls can one day pass on to their girls.

I was very disappointed to find that (unlike this doll's brother and sister in pink and yellow), this blue boy doll's eyes are shut - all the time. I was so focused on the picture of all three dolls, I never paid attention to the fact that the only doll in stock/available on Amazon had closed eyes. I know once my daughter opens this up for Christmas, she is going to get really frustrated that her baby never wakes up! Oh well, that is what I get for ordering last minute and not paying as close attention as I should have. I think since they are selling only the Blue Baby Boy doll, they should not include the picture of all three babies for this product description - esp. if your computer monitor is old and it is hard to see the details and hard to realize only the blue one has his eyes closed. Cute otherwise, but ended up being a very expensive mistake on my part...

This is a toy that is ment for older kids. It is not meant for anyone under age 8. It's eyes do not open, but that doesn't really matter. It is a nice toy for older girl who still like playing with baby dolls.
