This radio has several unique features that sets it apart from the average clock radio. It will play MP3 songs, in fact you can set the alarm to play a favorite song instead of the preprogramed FM station. It also has a line-in to play from auxillary sources.

The biggest feature: it has 3 alarms which can be set to tune in an FM station and RECORD the program in your absence. It also has a built-in mike to record voice messages. You could have it remind you at any time, with a message of your choice. It has an SD card so the memory can be expanded.

All in all, it has features not found on any other radio. I don't think it is overpriced if you can make use of these features.

Do note that it is FM only, no AM! Sound is pretty good for it's size. I have not tried the photo feature, but it is an OLED screen.

Very Very hard to set up. Myself, husband or teenage computer nerd had hard time figuring out. When finally got it then the alarm was not reliable. One time late for work was all it took. Sent it back.

I purchased this product for a Christmas gift. it showed up on time and in good condition. when I oppened the package the item felt as though it should cost a third of what it did. It is small! Not even close to the size I pictured it to be. most standard alarm clock radio's are twice its size and weight. It just felt cheap and flimsy . And the screen is tiny. my digital camera has a bigger screen so it wont matter if the picture is of poor quality because you wont be able to tell! as far as the operation I was generaly satisfied except I was under the impression that this item had acsending alarm volume. (main reason for purchase) and it does not. I would not purchase another one. I regret it
