Works as advertised
I have these blast gates hooked up to 6 different tools and I am very pleased how they perform. First off, they are very easy to install. If you can read a diagram you can install this with no problems. I have them hooked up the 3 hp dust force by JDS and together they make and outstanding dust collection system. Good idea, not very practial for system with more than couple tools
If you have a very limited number of tools hooked up and your ducting is 4" all along, this gadget is for you. It is relatively easy to install despite the poor documentation. However, If you have a more complex installation, I would not recommend it. There is no bigger diameter blast get avaialble. It is possible if you have some basic electrical...

If you have a very limited number of tools hooked up and your ducting is 4" all along, this gadget is for you. It is relatively easy to install despite the poor documentation.However, If you have a more complex installation, I would not recommend it. There is no bigger diameter blast get avaialble. It is possible if you have some basic electrical skills to setup the system to work with tools that have more than one blast gate between them and the dust collector but this becomes very clunky to install.

I have these blast gates hooked up to 6 different tools and I am very pleased how they perform. First off, they are very easy to install. If you can read a diagram you can install this with no problems. I have them hooked up the 3 hp dust force by JDS and together they make and outstanding dust collection system. I used 4" sewer and drain PVC and the connections are very easy. Since I use my dust collector as a central unit it saves me alot of time by not having to walk back and forth from the dust collector to turn it on and off. I would recommend this to anyone.
