I bought this unit because I was looking for a replacement for the over 30 year old unit that I had (which did not rotate) and this product surprised me by how it is geared and it's effortless and very easy operation.

It is a Sunnex 8300a, it went together easy, all the holes lined up and there is no slop in the fold down vertical portion.
Clips were a bit thin so i replaced them only because I had some in my tool box. The original ones while thin were by no means dangerous. Also replaced the wheels with better quality ones from the orange depot. The original ones were fine I just wanted something a little better.

Really Nice in every way but one. One of the holes for the quick bolt & clips on the back bottom of the stand was not aligned, I had to drill it out. Otherwise it is nice & heavy duty

The only thing that I didn't like with the stand is how long the adapter plate pipes are, where the mounting bolts pass through to bolt the engine up. For metric applications such as mine, I had to not only buy (4) new longer bolts after looking at two big box hardware stores, then Ace, but I also had to end up cutting the brand new tubes/pipes down even after spending almost $30 on (4) new longer bolts. 12 x 1.25 x 90mm was the longest I could find locally. So having to buy new expensive bolts, then STILL cutting down the brand new engine stand parts was irritating.
But beside that one thing, the price was great (I paid $169 shipped!) - with $50 discount. And the fact that it folds is really nice, and icing on the cake after the great price. I had to completely take apart my old stand every time I was done with it so I could store it under the workbench. This one rolls even after it's folded down which is nice because it's pretty heavy. I've wanted a rotating stand for many years but was never willing to pay $400+ for one. I take great care of my stuff and I'm sure I could get $150 out of it if I ever decide to sell it, so I'd say it's a good investment.
