Product Description

JessEm Clear-Cut Precision Stock Guides are the ultimate hold-down on the router table. Featherboards are limited in their ability to guide material accurately against a router table fence while Clear-Cut Stock Guides operate on the same principle as a stock feeder in that the stock is guided at a slight angle as it is fed forward. Rollers with one-way needle bearings are mounted at an angle, effectively steering your stock toward the fence. Stock is pulled tightly to the fence, and the gripping force of the rollers holds it securely in position.

I have A Incra system on both my table saw and my shaper, due to the lower profile on the Incra fences I couldn't use my various feather boards I own, and had to make my own which worked but I saw these and thought why not give it a try , and I could return them if they didn't work. Well they are an awesome addition to my. incra fences, infact I no longer use feather boards to push the stock into the fence as the offset rollers pull the stock into the fence with a nice bit of force. I had to run a 12' board through my shaper, and I always set up extension tables for this type of work as support. I have 2 sets of these Jessems, due to an order error, (not amazons issue- another mail order place took my order, lost it, and then shipped them to me after canceling my order) so I set up a pair on both sides of the fence - locked everything down and ran the board through with NO problem, it stayed tight against the fence. They are quick to adjust. Two cons, they aren't for stock over an 11/4" on my Incra fences and do not use the Allen wrench they supply to tighten it on your fence, I ended up causing a slight mushrooming on one my fences that I ended up machining out. 5 stars as they work as they are advertised!

These work as promised as a replacement for finger boards, but they're unusable unless the material you're routing is wider than about 3". They get in the way with narrow stock.

I saw these at my local Woodworkers and got a pair to try on my BenchDog Router Table & Fence. Install was as easy as sliding them into place and setup for hold-down pressure, which was so much easier and quicker than feather board setup. I later added a second pair and now have two on the in-feed side and two on the out-feed side of my fence - works PERFECT. Hold down pressure is easy to set (even using four), adds anti-kickback protection, and the 5 degree cant pulls my work solidly into the fence without making the feed too difficult - great balance. In use I was pushing several 12' pieces through while making complex molding, due to the length I had to pause and walk to the out-feed side and pull the last bit through - with these guides there was no burning, and no deviation where I'd paused, perfectly smooth like I'd used and auto feed. As an added benefit, when needed I can use them on my table saw fence as well. Jessom makes another great product would highly recommend!

I saw these Jessem clear-cut guides in American Woodworker magazine , #172, June/July 2014 issue recently and wondered if they would fit on the Kreg PRS1040 Precision Router Table System which I have. Was told that they would NOT FIT. Ordered them anyhow, thinking a machinest could make modifications to make them fit. Surprise, surprise! They do fit. The 1/4"-20 X 1-1/4 Hex Head Cap Screw heads slide right into the Kreg fence! I have already used the Jessem guides and I love them.

I use these with both my router table and my tablesaw. I have an Incra Fence System, so these little babies slide right onto the fence and let me tell you...they do a great job pulling the wood to the fence and keeping it there. I am buying another 3 sets just to make sure that if they are discontinued I will have one spare. One set is for my tablesaw, one set for my router table and one spare set. If you don't have these, GET THEM, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Another Great JessEm Product - They Work Perfectly! I have a JessEm Router table with all the "bells and whistles). Cost a little more, but worth every dollar. These Clear-Cut Guides hold my stock & prevent kickback. Cleaner cuts every time. They work great and save the set-up time using feather boards. I bought this "add-on" at Infinity Tools. Delivered in 4 days via USPS. Same price as Amazon - But, added another small item ($5.90), which made the order over $100 (ergo, free shipping at Infinity). Saved $10-$15.

As advertised. I don't have a ton of experience working on a router table, these significantly improved my end products.

They're pricey as heck but they are very nice. Note that you can only use them when you run stock through flatwise. If you stand the stock up you'll most likely have to take these off.

They do come on and off quite easily and they they do have quite a bit of hold power, both to the table and to the fence. I'm glad I added them to my shop.
