9 and upSweet Valley Twins
Everyone at Sweet Valley Middle School is talking about Jessica Wakefield and Aaron Dallas. They're probably the cutest, most popular couple in the entire sixth grade, and Jessica loves all the attention she's been getting. But when she develops eye problems and has to start wearing glasses, she's sure they will ruin her life forever!

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Seeing the light . . .

It's the most exciting day of Jessica's life--Aaron Dallas has asked her out! Nothing could ruin Jessica's wonderful mood-except the fact that she has to start wearing glasses. Jessica is convinced the Unicorns will drop her the second they see her. And Aaron will surely change his mind about their date.

For Jessica there is just one solution-she'll never leave her room again! How can Elizabeth help her sister realize that wearing glasses is definitely not a tragedy?

4.0 out of 5 stars See how good this book is!, December 16, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: JESSICA'S NEW LOOK (Sweet Valley Twins) (Paperback)
I always enjoyed the Sweet Valley Twins books and I used to read them all the time. The characters are all so interesting and the stories enjoyable. This book in particular is fun to read. Jessica, as usual, is being her silly self and doesn't want to wear glasses. I find this part just a little unrealistic that having to wear glasses should be such a problem. Billions of people wear glasses, so why should Jessica act like she's the only person in the world who wears them? I think she was just a little overdramatic, but that's how her character is. Eventually, she sees that it doesn't matter if she has glasses or not, because no one seems to care. It's an enjoyable book, so go out and read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is Great!, December 28, 2004
This review is from: JESSICA'S NEW LOOK (Sweet Valley Twins) (Paperback)
This book was really good. Jessica starts mistaking things for what they really are, and her teachers and her parents think she needs glasses. Jessica is worried sick because she thinks that the Unicorns and Aaron will think she's weird, and she'll become the laughing stock of the whole school! Can Elizabeth help Jessica see that she's making a big deal over nothing?

I suggest this book to anyone who loves SV books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get real Jess, December 3, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: JESSICA'S NEW LOOK (Sweet Valley Twins) (Paperback)
Jessica made a big deal over nothing. When I found out that I needed glasses, I wasn't thrilled but I did not think the world would end.Glasses will help Jessica see things clearly so she should be glad that she is able to get glasses. They could make you loook cool if you pick out a pair you like. And you have to take real good care of them because they are very expensive and all but besides that, they aren't that bad.
