This is an interactive DVD with more than 100 options to explore questions on 1)Deism vs. Christianity 2)Scientific and Historical Evidence for the Bible 3)Exploration on Absolute vs. Relative Truth 4)Atheism vs. Deism 5) Life after Death, expert profiles on the professors, scientists, philosophers answering the questions, and real life stories of personal spiritual journeys.
If you've ever read the Case for Christ by Lee Strobel (whose profile and life story are on the DVD), this is basically the DVD version of that investigation. In DVD format, this presentation is much more personal (In today's world, reading comprehension seems to be rapidly becoming a lost art). I believe that this format is perfect for discussing the truth about Jesus because the topics for discussion are so diverse that being able to toggle between menus really allows you to arrive at some important conclusions.
But don't be put off by the completeness of the DVD. The DVD was created for those that have little or no knowledge of Jesus.
I gave the DVD 5 stars because of the importance of the information given, the way the DVD is organized, and the way the interplay between the two gives the Truth about Jesus a freshness that is often missing in most other presentations. Despite the quite mundane cover, I think it's 5 stars material

This is a fantastic DVD to give out to people, to work through as a small group of friends, or to have as a reference to pull out when tough questions arise. I really enjoyed all the questions about God that are answered in it, and the Jesus movie being on there is an awesome bonus.

It's not really "bad" I would say but if you have, to say the least a semi-good understanding of the bible then this dvd is not for you. I was expecting a little more depth to the answers and maybe some interesting facts from history or archaeology and its pretty well a click question, they answer and then click your next question and they answer. Most questions take less than 1 min to answer.

If you know someone or you yourself haven't really done any deep study of the bible and its claims for authenticity or reliability then this a good a dvd as it'll point you in the right direction and give you some good starting points.

This dvd is a culmination touching on all the best information about the life of Jesus Christ to date. If anyone wants to know more about WHO Jesus is; WHY He came to earth; and HOW His life HAS, and IS impacting the lives of millions of people, especially within the last 2000+ years, this dvd, with over 4 hours of video material: The "Jesus Film", testimonials, and expert's profiles, with many questions answered - is perfect!

The Jesus Film mentioned above was completed in 1979, and since that time has been translated into over 1121 different languages, "...far more than any other film in history..." It has been viewed over 6 BILLION times. Literally, "Hundreds of millions have become followers of Jesus... by His power and love."
And this recent phenomena was made possible through the vision of a few, and expanding modern tecnologies, thus fulfilling a Biblical prophecy by Jesus Himself in the gospel according to Matthew, chapter 24 verse 14.

I've questioned and researched almost everything that life has brought before me since 1971, wading through 1000's of movies, videos, plays and programs, books and tapes. I've had personal discussions and disputes with many persons on many related subjects and studied the teachings and doctrines of a host of Churches, political and historical groups and organizations of many kinds; mythical, ideological, religious and science based.

In my opinion, this dvd offers any person interested, ALL THEY NEED TO KNOW about Jesus' message to the world.

This movie on Jesus Christ has reportedly been seen by more people on the planet than any other. Rightly so, I think.

The producers didn't have a lot of money to spend on costuming or spectacular sets. But that wasn't really the point. They wanted to present the story of Jesus in a straight forward manner, to present the life of Christ in an easy to understand format. They have succeeded.

This isn't a Hollywood presentation of Christ. This movie was made as an evangelistic tool, to show people Who Christ is, and to win them over to the Good Shepherd.

This Jesus sticks to the Gospel, without varying from the text. It helps that the cast is completely made of unknowns, so that previous work by the actors did not interfere with any audience reception of the message.
In this sense, it compares well with the more recent The Gospel of John film. (except the Jesus in that film somehow ended up as a Scot on the Island of LOST!)

You can obtain an inexpensive copy of this movie now for just a coupla bucks. The movie came out in 1980, but has lost none of its' power & appeal. This particular format includes some extras in the way of a presentation of the Gospel by evangelical scholars. There is nothing said by them that I found offensive to me, a Catholic.

This is an absolute must see DVD to watch if you're searching for the Bible's recollection of JESUS!!!

<!!!BUT!!!>

If you're looking like I was for something other than the bible's interpretation... there's nothing new here!!! Maybe a statement or two about a handful of supposed comments to prove that he existed but nothing to actually substantiate what really happened.

If someone today had people following them around, performed miracles, rose from the dead, claimed themselves the son/daughter of GOD (which would have been blasphemy), etc... I mean come on... Where is the documentation [besides] The Bible? The Roman Empire or some other culture at that time would have had a record of Jesus... Don't you think!?!

FYI... in 300 A.D. the Roman Empire forced the different factions of religion to put together the Bible as we know it today. Why? because of their differences!!

* Religion and Government fear mass waves of unrest among its people as they can't govern (monopolize?) situations they can't control. Ironically ...almost 2000 years of fear, persecution and or death in religion's name followed!!

If you want Jesus in your life... read his words not the filler stories and unsubstantiated drivel. His words/parables are what is truly important. Hear the message then understand them and finally realize that [yes] - Jesus was "GOD's Son" yet Jesus clearly says in the bible, "We are all GOD's children!" ...wouldn't that mean we too are GOD's sons and daughter's!?!

Anyway, I and or anyone who claims to know exactly what [GOD] is... are lying and don't know a thing!! The fact is... [We] right now at this moment and ~ even before the very moment one sperm and an egg are joined ~ were one with GOD - plain and simple!!!

Myth!!! [GOD] - is not an old man on a cloud pointing his finger down in judgment of all mankind - A great story to control the masses and keep the peace in chaotic times.

How's that? [GOD] is transcendent an "Omnipresent Energy" and that energy is here inside of each and every one of us to include Earth, a rock, a plant, the stars, the universe, etc... EVERYWHERE!!!

FINAL ANSWER: There are and never were conditions to be one with GOD!!!

Check these out...(in this exact order) Joseph Campbell's (6 Part) PBS Special "The Power Of Myth" follow that with "The Case For The Creator", "Zeitgeist", "The Privileged Planet" and finally "What The Bleep Do We Know?" - all found on DVD - they did the work for you (many resources; not one).
