Product Description

The JG M4 S-System is one of the highest-rated AEGs we've EVER carried here at LA Wings Inc, and for good reason. It is the quintessential "Player's AEG" - it comes with everything you need and nothing you don't. For the all-new enhanced production run model, JG has done the impossible. They've re-worked and improved what MANY players thought was already a PERFECT AEG. So this new model, available EXCLUSIVELY at Airsoft Megastore, comes to you straight from the manufacturer having been re-designed from the ground up to be even more powerful, more accurate, more versatile, more reliable, and yet STILL be one of the most affordable high performance AEGs on the planet. The JG M4 S-System comes equipped with a full metal integrated RIS system has a top sight rail extending all the way back to the rear sight, making it one of the most versatile AEGs that JG manufactures. Topping the chronograph at over 450 FPS, the M4 S-System has a muzzle velocity that overpowers the likes of $300-$450 Tokyo Marui and Classic Army AEGs. Its JG enhanced full metal gearbox & super high-torque motor set-up has been thoroughly designed to ensure that no matter WHERE you play, IF you play with the JG M4 S-System, it will dominate the Airsoft field or arena. Also, the JG M4 S-System features adjustable hop up, adjustable rear sights, and a rear-retractable 4-point stock for extra comfort. With full Tokyo Marui parts compatibility and many other aftermarket upgrade parts compatibility, this AEG can be easily customized and upgraded. The rail system further adds onto the upgrade potential of this gun, since you can add an almost endless amount of tactical accessories to it, including flashlights, scopes, lasers, and grenade launchers.

This gun is damn awesome. The thing shoots faster than 445fps and goes straight through a magazine book without difficulty. I had a tiny bit of trouble putting the battery in with the tight fit, but it was no problem after getting it in. It comes with a nice 300rd mag, but dont use .12's-they jam this gun. This rifle's pretty loud, but the accuracy and power makes up for it.

Pros
Great looks!
413-419 FPS after cleaning with .20 BBs (out of the box).
369-375 FPS after cleaning with .25 BBs (out of the box).
ABS plastic (very convenient!)
Heavy (8.5 pounds)
Long stock barrel (363mm) (I'll try to upgrade to 6.01mm x 425mm)
Magazine is perfect (good feed, tight fit and absolutely no wobbling)
Medium noise level
Magazine, outer barrel, sights, rest tube and gearbox are metal built.
Feels very sturdy.
6 positions stock crane.

Cons
Battery compartment is tight (but manageable).
No sling hole near the stock. It can be added later using third party parts. Nevertheless, it has one flat sling hole on the crane and one optionally attachable extra ring on the RIS system for ribbon type sling.

I'm using FireFox LiPo battery 7.4v 1100 mAh 15C which is very compact, fits like a charm and let the securing screws fit in without problems (using just thumbs to lock in place). When buying a battery check for short cables (like lipos do have) or use Teflon tape to compact cables in order to get them out of the way to properly close the compartment with the spring screws.

Luckily I got the black version although I ordered the desert tan version (a plus for me since I prefer the black style). Anyway it's the same JG F6613 model. (Took a little research to get the model info before receiving the gun).

Finally tried the gun. What a great experience! Maximum and effective distance is really good (about 150 feet)! LiPo battery lasted all day (and beyond). Front iron sights are detachable and were slightly out of center (turned to the left). I used an hexagonal 1.5mm screwdriver (Allen wrench) to loose the little securing screws and turn the front piece 3 degrees to the right. Presto!

I have to say, I was initially slightly skeptical about this gun. A metal gearbox AEG with an upgraded spring AND tightbore barrel for $150 after shipping just didn't seem right. So let me give you the pros, and then I'll tell you where they cut corners.

Pros:
-Metal gearbox
-Tightbore barrel definitely increases accuracy with hopup adjustment
-Upgraded spring means higher fps and can sling heavy bbs long distances
-Crane stock
-Metal upper rail
-Metal barrel
-Metal flip up sights (I really like these!)
-While the receiver may be plastic, it is much more durable than I initially expected
-Solid weight (if realism is your thing)
-Excellent fps/accuracy

Where did they cut corners, you ask?
-The battery. Oh boy, did they really just not care about that. Initially, when you pull the gun out of the box and fire on full auto, your rate of fire will be TERRIBLE. HORRIFIC. But that's what you get with a stock 8.4v 900mah battery. Want to double/triple it? BUY A NEW BATTERY! I must say, I was very disappointed at first, but then I popped in my 9.6v 2000mah butterfly battery... oh boy, did it just become a formidable weapon! (Fair warning, any butterfly battery with more than 3 batteries linked will NOT fit in the tiny battery compartment. Get an external battery box. That's what I did).

-The battery COMPARTMENT (boy, they really don't care about powering this gun, do they?). Now, I have owned a few AEGs, so I am used to the battery being a tight fit (there is NEVER any extra room), but boy, did they REALLY cut it close. Even with the stock battery, it is near impossible to get the compartment (under the barrel) to close.

This gun is a very nice and well made AEG. Lately i have been having troubles with the hop-up on the gun, but just recently ordered .28 gram bb's which solves the problem. The battery has long life and has never died. The magazine holds a good 300 rounds, which means you may want to order another. all in all this is a spectacular gun for the price.

Pros:

Metal Internals
Good fps
Metal Mag
Nice Sights
Good Grip/Comfortable

Cons:

Hard To Fit Battery
Hop-Up Can Be Annoying (Need .28 or .30)

Love It! <3 :)

if you are the type that's looking for accuracy and hard hitting, then this gun is for you. this gun for me was a wise choice and now i am dominating the competition when i play. This gun may have tremendous accuracy, and excellent fire power, yet the only thing i didn't enjoy was how fast it shot. to me, whenever you shoot it on full auto its not as fast as other guns, if you are the type that likes a very high rpm, then dont get this gun. But despite that it didnt shoot as fast as i hoped, it didnt shoot slow, it doesnt have the highest or lowest rpm, its right in between really lol but when it comes to accuracy and fire power then most definitely recommend this gun, I have been playing for 5 years now and i know a lot about the sport so dont take this review as of some rookie playing for the first time and got trigger happy.
