Product Description

Our take:  The JG Urban Assault UA-2 rifle is a unique yet powerful airsoft AEG that is perhaps your best bet for a metal gearbox AEG under $250.  With a muzzle velocity that overpowers even Tokyo Marui AEGs and its JG enhanced gearbox, the UA-2 is ready to rock and roll.

Tactical integrated military zoom scope is good for 1.5x OPTICAL ZOOM, which is more powerful than you think.  It's an awesome feature that is useful in the field, game after game after game.  Great for zeroing in on unsuspecting targets.  Built in crosshair in scope.  Full metal scope frame construction with metal receiver.

Why pay $300+ for a Marui UA-2 Military when you can get this more powerful JG MILITARY UA-2 for less than HALF the price?

With its foldable vertical foregrip and a realistic cocking bolt, this JG UA-2 offers top value for your dollar.  Because it is compatible with Tokyo Marui parts and many other aftermarket upgrade parts, it can be easily customized and upgraded.

QUALITY ASSURANCE:
Through numerous factory visits, we are able to confirm that JG tests EACH and EVERY single AEG that they ship out by putting each unit through a rigorous 16-point inspection, which ends with a Q.C. agent shooting no less than 450 rounds from the rifle to ensure quality before exiting the factory (hence sometimes buyers may find a BB or two left in their mag, as a result of the Quality Control agent's test firing).  This gives us even more confidence that JG is ever-increasing their attention paid to quality, and is a contributing reason to why the quality of JG AEGs gets better year after year.

First of all, this gun is accurate and hits hard. I have owned many airsoft guns and I can say that this gun is legit. The rate of fire is good for a 1100mhz battery 8.4v. I like it and the weight on it is very stable. The inside is all metal and the only plastic parts are the hard ABS body and trigger. The real AUG does have an ABS body so it's pretty much a full scale.

Pros:
-350-375fps on. 20
-heavy
-high rate of fire
-full metal interior

Cons:
-wobbly grip
-safety is loose
-scope isn't too adjustable

I recommend this gun to those who love the AUG, I am satisfied with it and am planning on keeping it for as long as it lasts.

11/2/12 UPDATE
I installed a madbull 6.01mm barrel and I cannot exaggerate how accurate this thing is. The scope is a lot better now with the barrel. I was surprised I was able to take out AK74's and M4's. I will rate it back to 5me stars.

This is a great AEG. It did very well for me when I used it in battle for the first time. The only drawbacks to this gun is that the safety switch can easily fall off if not careful and the front of my outer gun barrel fell off after I finished my first game. I now have a temporary fix to keep the barrel in place until I can get someone to look at it. Other than that, it is an outstanding gun. Accurate and fits any situation you may be in.

Awesome gun... Feels great and looks like a beauty. This gun will dominate on the field. It works flawless. The only drawback is its too easy to win. If you want to stand out from all the AK-47s, M16s, and the M4s... Then this is your gun.In my opinion my favorite type of guns are bull pup design. They make you more compact, more small. If I could rate it 10 stars I would.

I have been doing airsoft for about 5 years now and i well buy any gun that is a good price and has at least 4 stars. i bought this gun because the aug is my favorite gun in real warfare. when it arrived on time i was very excited to open it and charge it up. i read the manual from front to back and it says to charge for about 14-15 hours for a standard first charge after patently waiting i tried the gun and it didn't fire. but it did make a noise different from when the battery isn't inside the gun. i spent a couple days and found out the charger was broken. so i went to batteries plus to see if the had a charger for my battery and when they tested both my battery and my charger where both broken and the battery was out of date. i was very disappointed. however i still had hope for the gun its self so i sent both the charger and the battery back and i well be going to front range airsoft to replace the battery with the exact same type of 8.4 volts i am very hopeful the the gun itself well work with this new battery. if not i well send the gun back and the warranty well replace it. however the gun itself is very realistic. it weighs about 13 lbs. and the scope that it comes with is very good. i have no problem what so ever with the feel and look of the gun. for the fact that i believe the gun to be correctly wired and the look and feel of it i give it 4 out of 5. i well update this when it is working.

I received the gun yesterday (1/4/14) and opened the box up to find these items; the gun, the battery with its charger, a bag a BBs, a single magazine, instructions and a ram rod. I pick up the gun and put the scope towards my eye to find that the scope was at an angle. the scope had no problem, very accurate, but the print for the cross-hairs was at an angle. not a big problem but I now have to aim slightly below the center. It did take me a bit to figure out how to put the battery in.

PROS:
scope zooms in very well
magazine is definitely HIGH-Cap (330)
Battery seems to last a while

CONS:
the gun has a place for a strap to be clipped on but comes with no strap
The gun weighs a bit more that expected and a need for a strap is not high but definitely recommended

FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW WHERE TO PUT THE BATTERY!!!

on the butt of the gun there is a slightly rubberize back that has a indent in it, squeeze the sides of the butt that is aligned with the indent and it should come off.

The only thing with mine is that the battery on full charge only lasts no longer than 20 minutes other than that the overall feel and look of the gun is great. I recommend this gun.

Purchased this as a birthday gift for my oldest son in Jan. Received in a timely manner. He opened his gift and did as the instructions said do, allowing the battery to charge the time stated. Went to play "air soft" with his friends and his gun failed to work! Contacted AirSplat, and was told to send it back for REPAIRS, a brand new gun and I had to pay for return shipping for their poor quality product. Item was returned several weeks later and worked for one day! Contacted AirSplat again and was told that it was OUT OF THEIR RETURN POLICY TIME LINE of 30 days! Well, yes, it took them several weeks to get the repaired item back to my son! So, we were forced to accept an exchange for something else they sold. I paid yet another RETURN SHIPPING fee and was supposed to be mailed the return shipping label...that was 4/11/13 and today is 4/23/13 and I have yet to get that return shipping label nor does my son have his working birthday gift that was purchased in Jan! I am very disappointed in this item and this company. This is not the first gun we have bought from them, it's actually the third, only one has ever worked properly upon opening the box and normal usage. While I again state that it is not the first gun we've purchased, it is the last gun that we purchase from them! So angry with this company.
