There are so many things to love about this album. Not only does it contain some fantastic songs, the song choices themselves (and their interpretation) reveal so much about the artists who cover them. You've never heard anything quite like funk/hip hop ensemble The Cat Empire's version of 'Hotel California' in French!
Particular highlights are Damien Rice's intense cover of Prince's 'When Dove's Cry', Grinspoons peppy 'Drugs Don't Work' and the rollicking cover of 'Milkshake' by The Pictures.
This album is a load of fun and worth every penny.
