If your looking for a speaker for mids or highs these are great, but for any type of lower bass guitar or bass drum or heavey beat they struggle.Delivery responce time was great. We will have to see how they do after the entire system is together.

I bought these to replace the factory ones in my wifes corvette. Installing them was super easy. My wife loves the sound now as she was never really happy with the factory ones. To be honest I really can't tell a difference in the sound, but she can and that's all that matters. You know the saying if Mama's happy everyone is happy and I'm smiling too!

I replaced factory speakers in a 2001 beetle and 2000 Jetta with these and am very happy. Combined with an Alpine head unit (CDA105 & CDE102) they reproduce every instrument with clarity. It can be turned up so loud you can't talk to someone next to you in the car and yet there is no irritation or pain. It's pure clean sound. Bass response is good. They don't sound like a subwoofer and won't shake the mirrors off the car, but the sound is crisp, clean and realistic. I'm very pleased.

La primera ves que compro Speakers JL y estoy muy complacido, tiene un sonido muy claro y los tweeter sumamente claros y no distorsionan si tienes amp pues son una buena elección sino lo tienes pues los bajos no son tan buenos en ella. In resume great sound clear but no base in my case it donst matter I have amp with two 12" base and they do the job.
