I'm on my colleges fishing team and I wanted to try something different and not pay the price of a Lucky Craft, Megabass, or MaxRap. I went on the lake today and these so called "suspending" jerkbaits are just what I expected.... junk! They DO NOT suspend, they flat out sink. Just to make sure it was not a faulty lure I tied on each one and they all did the same thing. The action of the bait is average at best and 1/3oz with the 4.75inch makes casting it feel weird.
If you fish tournaments or just fish often I would recommend that you go with high dollar baits. Yeah it may be expensive but they do exactly what they say and the results show. If you are trying to save a little money and don't want to buy a 15-30 dollar jerkbait then buy the Rapala X-rap. If you are looking for good performing fish producing lure I would avoid these baits. |
