Swing quit working after 2 months. Battery operated so prepare to buys lots of them if you decide on this swing. Battery cover requires a screwdriver and it is not easy to change them out. There is one speed (when it works) and can not be adjusted. Spend a little more money for higher quality.

Got it for my first child, work ok at best. Just took it out of storage for the second child and it does not work at all. We put new batteries in it and when we turh it on we can here the motor moving, but it does not swing at all. Tried to give it a push and it slows the swinging down and stops. Buy something that cost more, I wish we did.

i purchased this swing for my first child who is now 5. I bought it cause at the time it was the only thing available in this color scheme. i paid $75 plus extra shipping to have it sent to our APO in Germany. Although my daughter never liked swinging I loved the swing and have been pleased with its performance. My second child is about to turn one and he has gotten hours of enjoyment out of this swing. it worked fine after being stored for 4 years and traveling the world. I've had the same batteries in it since two weeks before his birth and they are only just now starting to fade. He is too big for it now so it moves very slow but it still moves him. I'm suprised with all these reviews unless the manufacturer has really cut back on quality of parts since my purchase. I just had to speak out.

We received this as a hand-me-down. It was only used a couple of months by my cousin who gave it to me and it's never worked right. It doesn't swing on it's own without a push start. It often slows to barely moving or stops completely. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, it's not worth the money. I did like that the back rest adjusted and that the fabric cover is washable but I would think you could get those features on a better swing.
