I've used this once on windows that hadn't had a good cleaning in a couple of years. First, the sprayer is very easy to use. The connection to the hose screwed on without an issue, and there are three options on the dial to choose from (off, spray, clean). I was able to do my whole two-story house with about 20 windows in less than 45 mins. Overall, the windows do look much cleaner with no streaks, but there are some water marks left behind. The water marks are pretty hard to notice but that's why I couldn't give it 5 stars. Overall excellent price/performance.

This product is a great idea for those of us who don't have time to get out and scrub the windows. It makes a lot of sense to mix a concentrate to the water from a garden hose, which gives the pressure needed and makes rinsing easy.

If only it were so simple. The fittings are of such poor quality that the hose does not want to stay attached for very long, even with very low pressure. And the instructions tell you to manually brush or scrub any stubborn dirt prior to using the unit. What happened to the part where we don't have to scrub manually?!

I spent a morning trying to clean my back windows (thankfully I didn't do the fronts- the neighbors would've thought they were watching one of the 3 Stooges as the hose popped off, soaking me several times).

It gave me a good opportunity for comparison though- a bucket of water with a little bit of vinegar and a few drops of detergent, mopped onto the front windows and rinsed with a garden hose did a better job with less effort for less money and less of a mess in the same amount of time.

That's what I get for trying to be lazy!

The Windex product would be ideal if it were of better construction, with better gaskets and tighter fit. I presume that the chemical solution is adequate. I'm not sure if it's "green".

I would pay more for this product if it were better-built. And I would even buy concentrate refills. I think this is what happens to a good concept one the number-crunchers get a hold of it. Too bad.

I was so disappointed when my local grocery store stopped carrying this item, but delighted to find it at Amazon. Before, I discovered this product, I used to spend hours scrubbing my outside windows, then wiping them to try to eliminate every bit of residue left behind. Unfortunately, there would always be a few streaks after all that work.

This cleaner is easy to use, no wiping and it leaves the windows relatively streak-free. It also works through screens, which is a special bonus for me, because mine are difficult to remove. All in all, this is a great product if you want an easier way to clean outside windows.

This is an excellent product but hard to find. Just use it as directed. DO NOT let it dry on the windows or spray it when there is direct sun on the windows or you get streaks. Cleans lots of stuff and I was real happy that spiders drop dead shortly after a good bath of it. I live on a lake and the spiders, bugs, spider poop and webs are a real mess.

I've been using it for over 10 years now and it works great. I recommend to not use their garden hose applicator, unless you have a second story window you simply can't get to. I have had the best success (and use less of the product) this way (1) mix a little Windex outdoor into a small bucket of water (2) wet window with a hose (3) apply water-Windex mix with a scrubber part of a window washer squeegee (4) let set for a minute (5) rinse off with a hose. Yes, you do "scrub" the window slightly as you apply the water and Windex mix, but the real payoff is you don't have to wipe the window dry.

I really had high hopes for this product. My house has a million windows. So I went out to test it...Windex All In One left a white milkly film all over my windows! The spots it left are almost impossible to get off! So disappointed. Now I have to hire a professional to do my windows because I tried to hand wash them all and still it left impossible to remove spots. BUYER BEWARE.Windex Outdoor All-in-One Glass Cleaning Tool

I needed to clean an outside picture window that had not been cleaned in years. It was grimy and dirty. I live near the ocean and the grime is salty and hard to clean. I had no idea if this product would work. It did!! It is not as perfect as it might be if you could wipe it. Some of my outside windows are too high and I didn't feel safe using a ladder. This was easy and quick. At first, before the window dried, I was not sure how good it would look. It seemed to have a cleaned in some places better than others. But once dry, it all looks very good. Took me about 10 minutes to clean a large picture window on my bedroom. I have screens on the bottom half and they cleaned just as well as the top windows. All the reviews I read said to rinse really thoroughly and I did. That is probably the reason my windows look so good. I love this product and will use it on other large outside windows.

Works OK.. but really nothing beats grabbing a ladder and a rag and doing it the old fashion way! Although the windows look much cleaner than they did, they don't look "clean"! Now if you had a high pressure washer built into this, then it might get 5 stars!

I use this to not only clean my windows but my blinds also. The only product that I have found that does an excellent job on blinds without scrubbing!!

Holy Hannah! What a waste of time and money. First, the rinse position doesn't truly work, as I got to the end of a rinse on the glass patio table it started spewing out soap again. Your best bet is to shut down un-screw the canister and rinse normally. Secondly, although my expectations weren't high this still was useless on new skylights. They are only a few months old so the dirt build up wasn't too bad but still there's not enough pressure or scrubbing action to thoroughly clean dried on dirt. Might be good for the lightest surface dust but the watery run-off mess it makes is not worth it. Time for me to invest in an extension pole with a scrubber/squeegie.
