Be sure to look at all the product photos before buying this item. I only looked at the Jose Eber in the title and the main photo, therefore I completely missed that the product lacks a retail box and the box it comes in is misspelled (curing iron rather than curling - you can see this in the photo).

The actual curler says Jose Eber on it, but I have my doubts. I wonder if these are cheap knockoffs...of course, the real Jose Eber products are made in China just like the knockoff, so more than likely they are one and the same anyways.

The insert that comes has a lifetime warranty, the problem is that it is NOT through the same manufacturer that guarantees Jose Eber products. Real Jose Eber is through TOL, this product is through Overbreak.com

I'm a bit concerned with it being labeled a "DRTV professional version" because that DRTV simply means Direct Response Television (aka Infomercial) and so the problem with that is there are no infomercials made for professional stylists only. See the contradiction?

The box says this is a "Moda Italia" brand, which doesn't turn up a single product on the web except this amazon product, making it very skitzy concerning it being a real company or having anything to do with Jose Eber.

At best, this is an unauthorized product, but more likely, you are paying for a knockoff. I just wish the seller was being honest - but then again, it probably would be illegal then. Anyone else have problems with this product?
