5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best! 13 mice caught in one day!
I started noticing droppings around the kitchen area, and realized, drats! I have mice! Being an animal lover, I tried the Humane Cube Mouse Trap (with peanut butter inside). Nothing! Two weeks later, not even a bite! It got really bad because they started reproducing and there were droppings everywhere! And the smell was horrid!

1.0 out of 5 stars 8 Glue Trays, Caught Nothing
When I read the awesome reviews for this product I thought I had finally found the cure-all answer to the mouse/rat problem I've been dealing with recently. I set out 6-8 traps and even put various types of bait in the center, regardless of the peanut butter scent it comes with, and I caught nothing. Three of the traps I could tell had been tampered with by a rodent, as...

Then I tried the Snap Traps..nothing happened except I noticed the food disappeared and no mice caught.

So I walked to Walgreens, asked an associate and he referred me to J Eaton's Glue Traps. He swore by them...so I got several rat size and a few mice size...then BAMB! 13 mice caught in 24 hours, 5 on the larger traps. The first 2 were caught within 30 minutes (must turn off the lights). So I threw away the other useless traps..I did not want to go this route but it was either them (and a really smelly household) or us and J. Eaton's Glue Traps. I guarantee it works...it is very uncomplicated to use and I discard within 36 hours (makes the most use of the rat size traps, which I recommend because there is more surface area). The best because it ...simply...works.

4.0 out of 5 stars Try another bait, August 8, 2011

This thing does its job well if you put the right bait on the tray.
I had this hidden behind a freezer where the last mouse was found cruiz'n.
One week after placing it there, didn't catch a thing.
Until my daughter accidentally dropped a couple of french fries on the tray and the magic happened.
That very night it caught one mouse.
After I had it disposed of, the second night it caught another 2, mother and son.
After those were disposed of, the third night it caught another one.
So, four down, and hopefully none left.

Just a tip on how to dispose of the rats.
You see, they stay alive for a while and you can hear them crying if you don't do anything to "dispose" of them fast without getting your hands dirty.
So, I went to the 99cent store, picked up one of those long claw (screw and nut pick up extenders, (found one on Amazon: OEM 25291 Four Claw Pick Up Tool).
It has 4 metal prongs for picking up screws and nuts, it also is quite useful to choke the little ones quite quickly if you just grab it by the neck or head.
No blood, no mess.
And then you can reuse the glue trap again.

I set out 6-8 traps and even put various types of bait in the center, regardless of the peanut butter scent it comes with, and I caught nothing. Three of the traps I could tell had been tampered with by a rodent, as the trap was moved several inches away or flipped on its side, indicating that there was a struggle. This was pretty horrific: one of the traps was left with only a mouse tail and blood streaks against the wall. For me these traps didn't work, for others I guess it did.

If you think you have mice or rats, these work wonders in attracting them and ultimately ridding those uninvited guests! These work better than the snap mouse traps. I highly recommend these. However, be careful as they are hard to remove if you get caught on it. The removal is difficult at best.

These Stick'em traps are easy to handle and I have had some success with them in an outdoor situation. I think they might work better inside as the sticky stuff gets hard after a a couple days outside.

2.0 out of 5 stars Baltimore rats walk are winning, June 22, 2011

This review is from: JT Eaton 155N Stick-Em Large Rat And Mouse Glue Trap, 2 Pack (Lawn & Patio)
I have these Baltimore rats in my back yard.
They dug a hole in my back yard. I put this trap next to the hole. 3 hours later the trap was moved 2 or 3 feet away. No dirt on the trap.
Ill put it next back to the hole, but don't expect too much.

I shoved a beer bottle down there, but the rats just dug a outlet around it. In the process a big old rat about the size of the trap itself ran by me. I yelled really loud. The rat has taken my pride, and this product has taken 5 dollars.

I think im going to try a tin bucket with some weights on top. Will be the best use of my 30 lb dumb bells. Hopefully catching this rat will bring some man dignity back to me.

These things def don't work on baltimore rats.

Conclusion: USELESS device (Or We have some super mouses.)

I have been invaded by some kind of super fast rodent that somehow manages to escape these traps. I THINK THE SIZE MAY NOT BE LARGE ENOUGH AND THE TRAP WOULD BE BETTER IF IT WAS COMPLETELY FLAT AND ABLE TO BE ANCHORED AGAINST THE WALL. i REALLY HOPED THIS WOULD WORK FOR ME BUT ONLY BUGS ARE STICKING.

I haven't been able to sleep for a while because of the mice' noises. I heard them between the walls and in the ceiling. I was desperate and they were making my life miserable. I decided to buy this product when I realized that a cat was not an option... I was pretty skeptical about it because another glue product was such a waste of money... One day I open my kitchen cabinet and here I saw them. I used the glue and ta.. da.. I caught 5 of them. Since them, I have never heard any suspect noise. Hopefully, I caught them all anyway I have ordered another set so I can be ready whenever I hear scratching... Buy it but you must discover their hanging spot first for that product to be effective.

1.0 out of 5 stars Better for rats (?), November 22, 2011
This review is from: JT Eaton 155N Stick-Em Large Rat And Mouse Glue Trap, 2 Pack (Lawn & Patio)
I found prints on the trap but no mice were caught. I think it might work better for bigger rodents like rats. Also, I'm using it in a garage with the temp around 50 degrees so I'm not sure if it's too cold (maybe the glue hardened?).

either way, i put peanut butter in the middle of the tray and the mouse ate it. again, nothing caught after 4 days.
