I recently purchased this JT mask for an airsoft event. When the package arrived, I noticed that it was made of a plastic that scratched and flexed quite easily. You do not want to hit anything hard over your head.

On the field, it fogged up within the first hour of intense play. It was so bad, that I had to sit in a defensive position inside a bunker for the rest of the game. After the first game, however, the goggles did not fog up for the rest of the day; although, there was noticable condensation build-up on the nose and mouth guard.

Using this mask inhibits the use of rifle sights. Using a G36K, I was unable to look through the export sight without straining my neck and pressing hard on the mask.

Overall, a good mask, only some fogging in the early stages of game. I recommend using a defogger solution that is approved for JT lenses.

This is probably one of the best masks around when it comes to protection, it's low on the front and covers the whole top, sides and most of the back of your head. No more backwards hats slipping or buying headbands to add to your gear. It's comfy but can get a little warm on the inside, hence the 3 star rating. It's very light for it's size and coverage. Also, the lens like to fog unless you get a set of thermal lens like mine now has, got a killer deal in them and love this mask. Excellent mask for someone who's starting or a whimp and can't take a hit in the head. It's also stylish and smooth. Lens can be hard to change if you're unexperienced in the process. Don't count on anymore head bounces, it's sure to break on top of your head, so u'll wanna keep your head down. Kinda hard to judge how high you head is because of the space. Chin strap feels a little irritating but holds it in place well.

I'm giving this mask two thumbs up. It's great for beginers, but you can do better if your experienced at paintball. The head shield works great but it does pinch your hair, so, unless your bald, I suggest puting a piece of cloth in the top of it.

Pros:
Full head protection, hugs the back of you head and feels secure.

Cons:
Cheap foam, digs into your cheek bones, fogs ridiculously easy.

I have a big head, the [styro]foam was digging into my cheekbones and was scrunching up my face, after about 15 minutes wearing it, it gave me a headache. Also I saw it on walmart shelves never trusted any paintball stuff from there and this only makes it worse.

This is a good beginner mask, cheap and inexpensive. It has a habit of fogging no matter what you do. the foam around the goggles hardens quickly. I had to replace mine with softer cushion, foam. the head shield I couldn't use because its made for people with small heads.

I wanted to have full protection for my head during play (never know when that headshot will come when you lean out) and bought this one. The padding inside is cheap foam around the goggle portion and did nearly nothing to pad my face. I ended up with marks on my cheeks below my eyes where the plastic was cutting into my skin. I suggest spending the money on better head gear. Still, the held up to a firm paintball between the eyes and stayed clear of fog the entire day. Sweat collected in the foam and will drip in your eyes, so that's almost as bad.

works as advertised. fit well and protects the top of my head. no complaints here.

This mask is great when you play twice a year. Good beginner mask. Gives you a 360 degree head protection except at the base of the neck. The mask is covered with holes to give you adequate air circulation. I live in Florida and I play in the middle of summer but the mask kept my head cool during games. The major problem that I found in this mask is the lens. It cannot stand high humidity fogging. Good luck playing in the rain, once this mask fogs it will be fogged up all day. Make sure you bring some anti fog spray to help out. The foam that goes around the lens deteriorated after a year of use and started digging in my face giving me scratch marks and if your bald, it will scratch the top of your head since there is no padding in place. The lens is interchangeable but its hard to get out. My suggestion is get the the JT Carnivore as it addressed the problems of this model.

Helmet works well for airsoft wars, but it's a little tight. Having the helmet tight makes the goggles press into cheekbones more. Good product for the money and the company shipped right away.

Completely protected my melon. the goggles stay clear as long as your on the move and dont stand around breathing hard for fifteen mins (that was the only small issue, but as i said move a little and the air circulation will clear things up.) i got in the head several times during the military games and i heard the thwack of the bbs but didn't feel a thing.

On a side note though i have a really big head, and it came close to fitting but was no good at first. all i did was take 4 rubber binders and tied them several points in the mask (one toward the back on each side and two at the front.) it game the mask enough give to wear and it didnt sacrifice any protection. try it if you have a big head like me.
