Ever get out on the field and catch one in the neck? Me, too. Simply put, this is comfortable for the average neck and is MUCH better than a paintball on a bare jugular! 'Nuff said.

I bought the neck protector since i didn't want to get hit obviously in the neck in some weird angle, I am a beginner so it was entirely possible. I actually did end up getting hit and it didn't hurt or leave any mark on my neck. It is an appropriate size for me, i am 6ft 3in and 220lbs and doesn't bother while in use. I used it in hot 80-95 degrees and cold environments 30 degrees and no issue with chaffing itching etc.

I have caught one in the jugular before and I will never be unprotected again. This is a very comfortable neck guard and the price is well worth never experiencing that pain again. It is not going to completely protect you from 100% of the impact, will definitely help. Worth the buy.

I use this neck protector every time I play paintball. You don't ever want to be shot in the bare neck, so this item is a must-have for any paintballer. The protector has small holes in it to let your neck breathe reasonably well. You don't want a huge neck protector to overburden you during play, but this protecter is actually pretty thin, only being about an inch tall in certain places. It actually looks cool because it is contoured to fit human necks, and the logo is spiffy, but it's a bit light on coverage.

Neck guards are a must if you are playing paintball, I've taken a many a' shots in the neck and it does not feel wonderfully pleasant at all. These are great guards and breathe with no problems at all. It may feel like its choking you at first but you get used to it, then when you take it off - you feel naked. Its funny. Anyways great product and great seller, will use again.
