Want Net to Last Longer?,
By
This review is from: BRAND NEW JUMPKING 15' Trampoline (4 ARCH) ENCLOSURE NETTING WITH STRAPS AND ROPE.
[SAFETY NET WILL FIT ONLY A 15' TRAMPOLINE with a 4 ARCH ENCLOSURE] (Misc.)
Okay, so if you have owned this trampoline for any time at all you know that direct sun and water will EAT up your net in no time....no matter the PRICE YOU PAY for quality....the environment is gonna destroy it! So here is a semi-solution I have found to EXTEND the life of your net. There are products on the market that are like Sunblock and Waterblock for your net...invest in a good net and then invest in a good block and you will have a longer lasting net (on average without the net block our nets only last 4-6 months)....with block they have lasted 2 years + (with routine application of the block spray when it appears to be wearing off). I will give you a list of the products at end...but one additional item...the FIRST thing to go on your net will be the attachments to the trampoline and the arches....have a cheap solution for this issue. We found that if you purchase a package of electrical ties (the plastic type to group wire...zip straps) and use these they will outlast the net! We would wind strap through base of net and attach on each silver ring that spring attaches to. Do opposite sides (loosely fastened and tighten slowly to ensure even) Again do opposite sides (think North and South then East and West). Continue to working around trampoline the same way until all done. Then secure, tight and clip off excess to prevent damage. Next do straps on top in same way (N, S then E, W). Attach in similar fashion to how the straps attach to the arch posts. DON'T OVER TIGHTEN; KEEP LOOSE TO ALLOW BOUNCING OF JUMPER ON TRAMPOLINE. SLIGHTLY BOUNCE TO ENSURE NOT TO TIGHT. You will have to CUT ties off to remove old net...they will outlast even a UV product treated net...you will be so thankful to install this the right way the first time because to fix it after net is on, pad is over top is a nightmare!!!! Skip the rope on the bottom part so you won't be picking up little white rope bits out of your yard for moths after it rots. Hope this helps you! Fianlly, UV products in order of quality (the BEST is the 303 Fabric Guard (but pricy...I found it at autogeek.com and box of 12 16oz bottles was 89.10 with coupon...you will need at least 3-4 bottles for first use and then additonal applicaitons will take less if you do them routinely. We buy in bulk to same money and we also use spray on lawn furniture cushions, tents and outdoor gear, even on shoes to make them water resistant) Very close second is Starbrite Waterproofing (much cheaper and great value). Hope all this info saves you time, energy and a repeat purchase down the road. Consider an investment in a GOOD net and then maintaining it...you get what you pay for so read up on quality if your gonna want it to last and remember your kids don't get lighter, they get HEAVY and more ROUGH with age.

This net works perfectly on the skywalker 15 foot 8 pole no adjustment needed. The net is far stronger than the one that came originally. My last one made it through two summers. This one should do same or better even though the kids are bigger.
I certainly do not plan on doing any maintenance to it to make it last longer. I may buy an extra so I no longer have to worry about this issue. The quality is that good. Enjoy

We're very pleased with the Jumpking replacement trampoline net we purchased for our 15' Bazoongi back yard trampoline. It arrived promptly from Amazon and is better quality than the one that originally came with the trampoline from Sam's!
