Mr. Miracle, Forager, and Darkseid in the same package are a hit no matter what. I'm glad to see Mr. Miracle and, especially, Forager. He comes off looking very well painted and put together. But I wasn't all that impressed with the rest. The Mantis character's costume is cool, but his face sculpt is off as is Lashina's (she looks . . . well, to be frank, she looks bad). The sculpt on the rest of the characters was good (Mr. Miracle's was great): they all look like they do in the JLU Animted series. I felt the Superman figure, as he's been in so many other packages, needed to have something different here. What's the point of putting the same Superman in this package that you can get in a JLU 3-Pack? What have him battle-damaged, at least, . . . or something? And DC continues it's marketing ploys, including a character or two that you won't get anywhere else that makes the package a must-have. I guess Mantis and Forager, as they're hard to find anywhere else, make this one a must-have. Darkseid also looks massively threatening and has the girth that he should have in the DC Universe, imposingly wide in comparison to the other action figures. All my qualms nothwithstanding, you can have a lot of fun with this collection whether you're playing with it or using for decoration.
