4.0 out of 5 stars Great camera, July 25, 2008
This review is from: JVC Everio GZ-MG465 60GB Hard Drive Camcorder with 2.7" LCD, 32x Optical Zoom, CCD Pixels: 1.07M, microSD Slot, Konica Minolta Lens (Electronics)
I'm very happy with this camera. I chose this one over the MG365 (mainstream US model) because of the 1-megapixel camera instead of .6. Probably i won't even use the camera-option, but when I've forgotten my photo camera it makes better pictures. The camera is now a bit overpriced, but I bought it for more then 100 USD less.

Camcorder is very small, it's just slightly bigger then my hand. Just perfect.

Movie quality is perfect (if you don;t need HD of course) and the fact that it's a HDD-camcorder makes ik easy to make DVD out of the video's. THe reason for me not to give this one five stars is the JVC-video standard. This is .mod and only to use with the software from the camcorder. I don't use this because I am used working with Ulead. Therefor I had to find a workaround to rename the video's to MPG with a tool called SDcopy. This is a free tool made by this handy guy (find it on google). So 100 points for this guy, but minus one star for JVC.
