Decent set of earbuds - very good for runners,
By

I've been trying out several cheapo earbuds for the last few months and was beginning to think I was going to have to spend some real money to find a good pair for when I go out running. Picked up the blue "Gumy Phones" and am looking no further. These earbuds have more flexibility in your ear and tend to stay in place. The other cheapos would pop out or lose their fit and the volume would lower drastically. While the frequency response isn't brilliant, it has the best bass response of the several earbuds I've tried. Cord length (3.9 feet) is just right for runners. I'm very pleased with this product from JVC.

Comfortable and well designed,

The sound is decent (not stellar) and they are very comfortable to wear. For non-in-the-ear-canal buds that sound good these represent a good choice, and the price is right as well.

I recently had the unplanned opportunity this Christmas to compare the JVC Gummy earbud headphones against the Sony version and the Memorex version of this product. So the scientist in me and my 2 daughters tried all three on an ipod nano. It was amazing the difference between the products. The bass is considerably clearer on the JVC product. The volume is much louder ( so you don't have to raise the volume as high and subsequently also raising the hiss and other noise of the particular player you're using). The vocals and cymbals were equally crisp. All this for a mere $8.99 plus S&H online or $14.99 in Walmart. The only drawback that we could find is that the earbuds are inherently uncomfortable for some of us after about an hour as compared to the in-the-ear type. Overall a thumbs up for the JVC Gumy Earbud headphones. Cheers...Les

headphones are good,

I like my headphones. They are cute and do their job just fine, especially for the price. My only complaint would be that the wire gets tangled up quite easily, but that might be because of the way it was packed and I just need to use them some more.

I don't know what to say about a product like this. It works, the price was great and it is durable. Perfect for what I had a need for. Did not want to spend too much money but still wanted a decent quailty product.

I love these. Everybody always asks me where I got my cool earbuds. I have bought pairs for my husband and several coworkers. Everyone loves theirs.

I use these @ work, so they don't really go through alot of wear and tear. Well on second thought, perhaps they do. Anyway as of yet, I have no complaints, the sound comes in nice and clear, I thought the cord was longer -but that was my fault so I purchased an extender (3.5mm) and all is well!

great for the cost,
This review is from: JVC Gumy Earbuds HAF120G (Green) (Electronics)
For under $10 these are the best headphones you will find. I have had 3 pairs now which sounds bad but its been over the course of almost 3 years. They are extremely durable. Mine have been stepped on, shut in doors, tossed about by the cat and more, however they dont survive having the cord chewed on a lot by cats or being caught in the handles on car doors very well.... I play my music loud and with these headphones unless I really want to drown out something really loud I never hav the volume up more that 2/3 of the way. Some headphones when you turn them up to loud you hear a rattling from the headphone not an issue with these unless it is up all the way. I don't see my self getting any other pair unless i can't find them when i replace the death by car door handle ones.....yea...

I'm sure these earphones work and sound fine but I was looking for something softer/smaller for my apparently small earholes. :)

These headphones look pretty cool and are more comfortable than the original ipod ones. They are a little weak in the bass frequencies...but the mids and highs are nice and clear for such an inexpensive set of phones. Also...no annoying covers that slip off. These will take a beating. I use them while mowing the lawn, excercising, etc. Great for the $!!
