I wear these for 30-45 min walks several days a week. I had problems initially with "tinny" sounds but after a couple uses and probably fitting them in my ears better by squishing the foam down before inserting them it went away. I haven't had any problems since and enjoy them. I am a small person so I have pretty small ears, they did hurt a little initially when wearing them but either combination of breaking them in or properly inserting them made them comfortable.

Comfort and sound as well,
By These have good sensitivity, the cords are just the right length and having shared them, have had no complaints from anybody. Unless I haven't put them in securely, or have accidentally tugged on them, they don't come out.

Gotta have 'em!,

These are great. My husband was getting some because regular earbuds fall out when he's at the gym and he suggested I get some too. I didn't think I needed these marshmallow ones, but they are great. I didn't realize how much I wasn't hearing with regular earbuds. They stay in and you hear the sound so much better and more clearly. Love them! Just pinch them before you put them in and they conform to your size.

My friend just got her first ipod, and spent about $20 on some cute pink-skull earbuds; they were adorable. She was so proud of them, but I swear, they sounded broken to me, like you could only hear the high tones.
I listen to my ipod every day, so I'm used to the sound, and her brand new ones were terrible. I got out my ipod and super-old cobys, stuck them in her ipod, and she couldn't believe the difference. I decided to find her some better ones, so I purchased 3 different brands. I got a pair of good-brand-named ones for $16, these for $12, and a set of my own old cobys for $5 Coby CVE92 Isolation Stereo Earphones. I just got all 3 sets today, tested them at the same time, and the ONLY one with any bass is the coby. The sound on them blows the other 2 away, for $5. These JVC marshmallows are very comfortable with the memory foam, they're pink and super cute, the cord and adjustment is great. But they sound TERRIBLE; there are only the treble sounds, absolutely no bass. I'm giving my friend the $5 cobys, and the other 2 to charity. If you are using them at the gym or running, or are not picky about the sound, these are probably ok for your purposes. But if you're into sound quality, look around!

After needing to replace my 2nd set of these (since they're so cheap), it was time I wrote a review. Since they're so cheap and comfortable, I've bought them twice in the last year. But, the marshmallow buds come off easily and are forever lost if you don't notice when they fall off.

My husband and I cannot afford 50 dollar headphones- so we were thrilled when we found these. They are fantastic- I have had the SAME pair for over a year now, and they are JUST starting to give me trouble- And the marshmallow coverings were perfect up until 2 weeks ago. They do get a little bit discolored over time, but that isn't a big deal.
I paid 25 bucks for them at the time, and they have lasted me over a year- THAT is an awesome deal. The sound quality is the best I have ever heard with earbuds, The sound is very similar to the way a CD sounds- Meaning- not too much overpowering bass, ETC...I cannot stand a lot of bass in my music, so these are perfect for me. Also- I have small ears- and after a bit of breaking them in, they fit inside perfectly. I only wish the cord was an elbow shaped and not a straight. This has been the best earbud set I have ever used- Would recommend it to anyone- especially if you are on a tight budget- these do the trick!!!

I ordered the JVC HA-FX34P but was sent the JVC HA-FX35P instead. The newer version of these headphones, the FX35 model, is designed to match ipod colors and is larger than the FX34. The FX34 version fits in small ears better. This model is no longer available in stores and I was thrilled when I thought I'd found them here. I even ordered 2 pairs! I was extremely disappointed to receive the ipod model XP35 instead. That model is available in mass quantities at every store imaginable. I had been fooled by those in the store and already have a set that won't work for me. All paperwork and advertising listed the XP34, but the package is clearly marked XP35. Evidently, the model I want is no longer available in stores OR online. Please vendors, advertise the correct model numbers for the items you sell. This was a huge waste of time and although I can (and will) return them, I am out the postage for an item I would never have ordered in the first place if the correct model number was advertised.

The ear-plug style bud covers get dirty very quickly. If you're like me and are almost always wearing headphones, even with meticulous ear cleaning you will burn through the foam covers. They will shrink and be hard to compress to put in. I buy silicone covers from Earphones Plus (a 3rd party store on Amazon) that fit pretty well, but once again you have to replace them eventually too (but not as frequently).
Overall the sound is good. The cord could be a little longer and in colder weather it has a tendency to stiffen.

After trying to find earbuds that would actually stay in my ears while at the gym, I stumbled upon these. I was comparing them to the $30+ kinds and decided to go cheaper first. I am so happy I did! These fit awesome, and also block out a lot of background noise. I put them in at the gym and didn't have to touch them again. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

These earbuds are AMAZING!! I have small-ish ears, so these earbuds fit perfectly...just squish the foam, place in your ears, and it expands to fit inside snugly. They block sound COMPLETELY, and the bass is actually excellent (which is rare for earbuds). I tested the sound with all different types of music and so far there has been ZERO tinniness or crackling. Also, the foam keeps them secure in your ears for jogging, etc.
The only con is the length of the cord; could be a little longer, but it hasn't been a problem yet. The pink is super cute too...I'm thinking of getting them in all different colors. Small-eared music listeners, unite! Highly recommended product. |
