5.0 out of 5 stars Get a bit more than what you paid for!
Got these headphones for roughly $20 bucks at a the local Base Exchange. I used to own a pair when I started college (about 5 years ago now), but those broke when I accidentally sat on them. I've had my newer pair for about 2 years now. All I can really say is that for the price they're an excellent set of headphones.

Please remember that you will almost always get what you paid for. These are not Sennheiser Audiophile headphones no matter what hardware you use them with but considering the price they are above average in my opinion.

Comfort:
For the most part they're reasonably comfortable. The padding is a bit stiff and the band is just plain hard plastic with height adjustments. (though still flexible enough to fit most heads). I can wear these for hours on end and not really have an issue. (Also note that I wear large glasses and it's still quite comfortable). They do slip every once in a while, but all it takes is a quick 2 second readjustment and they're fine.

Sound:
I'm actually quite impressed with the sound on these headphones. They have decent bass with good mids and okay highs. With a bit of tweaking with an equalizer (if you have one) they sound even better.

Quality:
That's the really impressive part with these headphones. They can take a beating and keep going. I treated my old pair quite... nastily and they lasted for over 3 years. After I sat on them the left cup went out but would come back in every now and again if I jiggled the cord enough. (Note: it has a single cord on the left cup).

Overall:
If you need a CHEAP pair of headphones for use with an mp3 player or other music device, then this will do you just fine. I also have a pair of Shure in-ear buds and just ordered a pair of Sennheiser Audiophile 555's. I do want to say that these do not come anywhere near the quality of my Shures, but that should be a given.
